Chapter 168

Abby mumbled under her breath, though everyone heard her. Cynthia glanced at her, and Abby quickly looked away, too scared to meet her gaze. Abby wore a loose mori-style dress, contrasting with Nina's minimalist light wedding gown. The white silk gown flowed elegantly, highlighting Nina's graceful figure. The nearly open back revealed her slim, snow-white back, adding a youthful charm.

Nina, who once favored pink princess dresses and little white shoes, sported a brand-new, refreshing look.

Jessie complimented generously, "Nina, you look beautiful, like a little fairy!"

Nina blushed slightly. "Thank you, Jessie." Turning to Cynthia, she asked, "Cynthia, could you help me with this veil?"

"Sure!" Cynthia readily helped Nina put on the veil, then tidied it, adding, "It looks great."

Nina studied Cynthia's expression, finding nothing unusual. She wondered why, if Cynthia had been Jonathan's girlfriend, she showed no hostility, even caring for Nina. Confused, Nina wasn't sure how to interact with Cynthia.

After changing clothes, the four women joined the men already waiting on the beach. The men paused as they approached. Preston briefly glanced at Cynthia, his cheeks flushing before he quickly looked away.

Jessie twirled for Ethan. "Ethan, do I look good?"

Ethan replied honestly, "You look nice, but a bit mature." He immediately regretted his words, adding, "Well, you're not exactly young anymore, so it suits you."

Jessie gritted her teeth. "Ethan, no wonder your girlfriend left you!"

Ethan, bewildered by her anger, was at a loss.

Jessie muttered, flustered, "You're calling me old! Look who's dating someone much younger!" Realizing she was still live-streaming, she awkwardly changed the subject. "Oh, the weather's nice today, huh?"

Live Room Comments:

  • Did I hear that Ethan has a much younger girlfriend?
  • Jessie says his girlfriend left him. Is Ethan going to cry?
  • Nina looks stunning! Team Nina & Jonathan!
  • Ugh! Cynthia! So beautiful!
  • Did you see Preston blush? He couldn't look away from Cynthia!

Chapter 10

Jonathan noticed Cynthia. She wore a loose white dress that subtly hinted at her figure. The scene reminded him of Greenfield Villa, and his expression was strained, his fingers clenching into a fist before he looked away.

The photographer arrived with numerous props. Alex and Abby's forest-themed photos were shot in the jungle; Ethan and Jessie's on the rocky shore. Jonathan and Nina's wedding photos were scheduled on the beach, and Cynthia and Preston's at home somehow, a bed was placed on the beach, its feet in the seawater.

The photographer casually instructed, "You two, get on"

Preston looked puzzled. "Get on where?"

"On the bed," the photographer clarified, adjusting his lens.

Preston's face turned bright red.

Cynthia, noticing Preston's blush, asked, "Preston, do you have a fever?"

"I'm not feverish," Preston stammered. "I'm just hot"

The photographer announced, "We're starting, please get ready."

Cynthia confidently sat on the bed, while Preston hesitantly joined her, blushing profusely. The photographer directed them closer together, further reddening Preston's face.

Meanwhile, Jonathan and Nina's beach photoshoot was underway. Jonathan, however, seemed distracted, his attention elsewhere. Nina felt sad; she knew he was focused on Cynthia.

Nina had chosen the wedding dress immediately, never expecting to actually wear it with Jonathan. Though she knew Jonathan hadn't truly made a decision, she felt it was fate. She had dreamt of this moment, feeling both excited and nervous. Yet, Jonathan never truly looked at her. She longed to speak to him, but the live stream prevented her.

Chapter 168 (Continued)

Jonathan and Nina were nearby as Cynthia and Preston's photoshoot continued. The photographer urged, "Cynthia, Preston, don't be shy. Get closer. Cynthia, rest your head on Preston's shoulder, and Preston, put your arm around her."

Hesitantly, Preston asked, "Cynthia, can I?"

Cynthia, wanting to finish quickly and rest in the shade, leaned over. Preston visibly tensed, but then smiled, pulling her into a hug.

Seeing this, Jonathan left Nina and approached them.
