The assistant said, “The trailer has already been in post-production. It’s ready to go anytime.”

The final scene of the trailer was Penelope’s death, which had been filmed just yesterday and added at the eleventh hour. The assistant’s words sparked a sudden idea in Jos’ mind. He said immediately, “Olivia, don’t worry about this. There’s still a chance.”

He turned to the assistant and said, “Release the trailer right now.”

The assistant froze for a moment. “But… the release date is supposed to be three days from now. And didn’t the investors want Ms. Carter removed from the crew? If she’s replaced… shouldn’t her scenes be cut from the trailer first?”

“Cut nothing and just release it!” Jos ordered decisively. He hadn’t figured out how to keep Olivia before, but when she mentioned the trailer, inspiration struck. The investors are worried about Olivia affecting its box office performance, aren’t they? Well, who’s the primary audience for A Little Spark of Joy? The original novel fans!

If he released the trailer immediately, he was confident that once viewers saw it, they wouldn’t doubt Olivia’s acting anymore! Jos said, “Olivia, go rest in the dressing room for now. We won’t rush your scenes today.”

After Olivia and Jared arrived in the dressing room, Olivia calmly sat in a chair. On the other hand, Jared’s anxiety was through the roof. The thought of Olivia leaving the movie made Jared want to drag the investors out and beat them up. After thinking for a long time, Jared finally blurted out, “Olivia, don’t worry. If worse comes to worst, we’ll just replace the investors!”

Olivia raised an eyebrow. “Replace the investors?”

She didn’t expect Jared to be so daring! She added, “You’re the one who needs to calm down. Sit down. Your pacing’s making me dizzy.”

Jared couldn’t sit still. The thought of the investors being so blind to Olivia’s talent enraged him. After glancing at Olivia, he made an excuse to go to the bathroom, when he actually stepped out to make a call in secret. “Bro, help me!”

In another dressing room, Daisy was criticizing Amelia’s so-called kindness. “Things have gotten so bad, and you still want to plead for Olivia? Have you forgotten how ungrateful she was when she hit you yesterday?”

Amelia sighed. “She’s still my sister, after all.”

Daisy rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone to show Amelia the comments under Olivia’s Twitter.

She then opened the official account for A Little Spark of Joy and scrolled to the comments. “Look at this. So many people are demanding for Olivia to get out of the movie. You shouldn’t get involved anymore! Honestly, think it’s better if she’s gone.”

Amelia glanced at the comments under the official account and smirked. Daisy didn’t know that among those clamoring for Olivia’s departure were not just genuine netizens but also many fake accounts Amelia had purchased the night before. Amelia was certain that Olivia was doomed this time. The investors would never let her stay. Just as Amelia thought she had won, the official account for A Little Spark of Joy suddenly posted a new tweet that read, “Let us present the trailer for A Little Spark of Joy. Here’s an early sneak peek for everyone!”

Daisy was stunned. “Weren’t they planning to remove Olivia from the cast? Why are they releasing the trailer now? Did they delete all of Penelope’s scenes?”
