Just as viewers were mourning Olivia’s team, a fresh new face appeared on the screen. A handsome man in a white outfit appeared; his slightly lowered gaze introduced a mysterious aura surrounding him. Upon learning that his teammate had been locked up, his eyebrows furrowed slightly.

In an instant, the livestream’s audience exploded.

Joycelyn rolled her eyes. “Don’t get your hopes up.”

“With the gold locations shared among the three teams, everyone’s bound to go crazy looking for gold at sunrise. Coming to rescue us would just be a waste of time.”

The next morning, as soon as Olivia and the others woke up, the production team sent people to tie up their hands and feet with rope.

Whitney was confused.

A staff member explained cheerily, “Although you’ve been captured, your gold and magic tools won’t be taken away. However, to prevent anyone from passing them to their teammates through the cage…we have to trouble you for a while.”

Olivia glanced at him. “Might as well just announce my social security number while you’re at it.”

The staff member scurried away, pretending not to hear Olivia and leaving her, Joycelyn, and Whitney trapped in the iron cages.

Every so often, a few NPCs who had suffered at Olivia’s hands would pass by and glance mockingly at her cage. Serves her right! The rogue finally got her just desserts.

Joycelyn had given up long ago on being rescued and lay motionless on her bed.

After waiting for a while and not seeing any sign of Shawn, Whitney pouted and gave up as well. “See? Men are unreliable!”

Olivia never even expected her yet-to-be-seen new teammate to come. Just as she was about to doze off again…a tall figure suddenly burst into the hall.
