Chapter 325: Loyalty

Mia was stunned by the offer from Starlit Entertainment. Even though she was new to the industry, she could tell the terms were unbelievably generous. But she had only done one character photo so far. Was Starlit Entertainment seriously this desperate?

“Sorry, I’m not interested,” Mia said, still in disbelief, and ended the call.

Olivia glanced at Mia. To prove her loyalty, Mia immediately shared with Olivia that Starlit Entertainment was trying to recruit her.

“Olivia, don’t worry. I will never betray you.” Mia stared into Olivia’s eyes, determined.

Olivia was the first glimpse of hope in the darkness of her life. Having been betrayed by her own mother, she would never do anything as despicable.

Olivia rested her chin on her hand, her smile teasing as she looked at Mia. Just as Mia was about to continue speaking, Starlit Entertainment called again. Mia was about to hang up, but Olivia suddenly stopped her.

“Do you not trust me?” Mia asked, her voice filled with surprise.

Olivia smiled and said, “It’s no fun just hanging up.”

Mia was confused. Olivia grabbed Mia’s phone from her hand. “Since they’re so sincere, we should at least give them a response, right?”

Starlit Entertainment was clearly determined to block her success. They had already prevented all the other artists from working with her, and now they were trying to poach Mia by offering a huge sum. Since they were so eager, Olivia decided to give them a chance.

Mia looked surprised as Olivia answered the call from Starlit Entertainment. The secretary, under Liliana’s direction, made another attempt to convince Mia.

“Ms. Mia, please don’t make a decision just yet. If you have any specific demands, we can certainly discuss them.”

Olivia cleared her throat and, to Mia’s shock, began to speak with a voice nearly identical to hers. Imitating voices? She was impressive!

Mia stared in disbelief as Olivia mimicked her voice, her face showing a mix of surprise and amusement. The secretary could tell Mia’s tone had softened and quickly pressed forward.

“Ms. Mia, don’t worry. We have a strong reputation in the industry, and we recognize your talent, which is why we’re interested in signing you. We’re very sincere. If you have any requests regarding salary or terms, please let us know, and we’ll try to meet your needs.”

Olivia tapped her fingers rhythmically on the table and then smiled. “Since you’re so sincere, I’ll go ahead and state my conditions.”

“Certainly, please go ahead,” the secretary responded.

Olivia smiled and said, “I’ve been living in a detached villa for a while, and I’m not used to living in a small apartment. So, I’d like your company to provide me with a detached villa after I sign.”

The secretary paused, surprised. How could Mia be so direct and quick to reject the first call, and now, all of a sudden, she’s making such an outrageous request? Even renting a detached villa would cost a lot.

Liliana, however, signaled for the secretary to agree. With numerous villas under her name, letting Mia stay in one to prevent Olivia’s new movie from starting was no issue for her.
