Chapter 362: A Beating Should Do

Daxton looked at Benjamin incredulously. โ€œIs that girlโ€ฆreally in need of money?โ€ She seemed like a little money-grubber.

Benjamin nodded. โ€œSeems like it.โ€

Understanding immediately, Daxton sent Olivia another message. โ€œI was planning to give you some reward after dinner.โ€

Olivia replied, โ€œTime and place, Iโ€™ll be there.โ€

That evening, Daxton prepared a lavish dinner at the Moore family estate, waiting for Oliviaโ€™s arrival. As Olivia drove up to the grand gates of the Moore family estate, she was taken aback by the opulence of the mansion. โ€œHow thick must the reward be?โ€

The butler promptly led Olivia inside, and as she entered the hall, she saw Daxton seated in his wheelchair, looking benevolent. Behind him, pushing the wheelchair, was a person who raised Oliviaโ€™s eyebrows.

Today, Benjamin, who was coerced into wheelchair duty, met Oliviaโ€™s amused gaze and quickly looked away.

โ€œBenjamin?โ€ Olivia addressed him, only then noticing the family resemblance with Daxton, who looked somewhat haggard from his recent ordeal.

โ€œMiss, I forgot to mention last time, Benjaminโ€ฆheโ€™s my grandson,โ€ Daxton explained with a smile.

Oliviaโ€™s response alone could have raised Daxtonโ€™s approval rating by eighty percent. Coupled with her brave actions the other day, Daxton grew even fonder of her. He might be ill, but that didnโ€™t stop him from playing matchmaker for Benjamin and Olivia.

Benjamin awkwardly shifted his gaze, while Olivia nodded thoughtfully. โ€œGrandpa, donโ€™t worry, I wonโ€™t take the reward for nothing.โ€

Before Daxton could respond, Olivia swiftly moved next to Benjamin, giving him a small smile. Benjamin was stunned. Happiness came too suddenly!

But in the next second, Olivia flipped Benjamin over her shoulder, throwing him to the ground with a loud thud! Benjamin, who was just savoring his moment of bliss, was now a mess on the floor.

Daxtonโ€™s smile froze. What in the world?

Olivia exclaimed, โ€œAlthough weโ€™re classmates, your disrespect toward your elder is unacceptable. I must teach you a lesson on behalf of the school! Grandpa, donโ€™t worry, Iโ€™ll straighten him out!โ€

Itโ€™s just disrespect, right? Mostly spoiled! A good beating should fix it! If one beating isnโ€™t enough, then two will do!

As Olivia geared up for another moment, Benjamin, clutching his sore chest, hurriedly raised his hand. โ€œHold on! When did I disrespect anyone?โ€ Iโ€™m innocent!

Olivia turned to Daxton. โ€œYour grandfather said so.โ€ She still remembered Daxtonโ€™s complaints about disrespectful descendants.

Benjamin looked at his grandfather. You canโ€™t set up your grandson like that, can you?

Daxton said, โ€œWould you believe it if I said this was a misunderstanding?โ€ Turning to Olivia, he clarified, โ€œOlivia, I wasnโ€™t talking about him. Benjamin is the most filial child.โ€

Benjamin nodded earnestly.

Only then did Olivia let go, and Benjamin slowly got up, thankful for his robust constitution, or that throw would have cost him dearly.
