Chapter 384: Caught in the Bag
Olivia headed to Starlit Entertainmentโs garage, initially worrying about finding Lilianaโs parking spot. Then, from afar, she saw Amelia in a white dress, standing eagerly by a reserved parking spot. Amelia had been there for who knows how long, occasionally glancing towards the garage entrance. Olivia crossed her arms, observing from behind a column as Amelia looked impatient. One could guess who would make Amelia act so eagerโit could only be Starlit Entertainmentโs chairman, Liliana.
Finding what she sought so easily felt almost too good to be true. A smile curled at the corner of Oliviaโs mouth as her eyes scanned a pile of renovation materials in the corner of the garage. A sack filled with gravel and a thick wooden stick caught her attention. She picked up the stick and tested its weight in her hand.
โNice!โ
Now all she had to do was wait for the lucky person to arrive. After about ten minutes, a sleek black Bentley pulled smoothly into the spot in front of Amelia. As soon as the car parked, Amelia hurried over, eagerly opening the door. Liliana stepped out and was immediately met by Ameliaโs fawning face, which she looked upon with disdain and contempt.
How could such a sycophant be my sister? The thought of sharing the same blood as Amelia made Liliana feel nauseous. They were not even from the same world. If it werenโt for the need to deal with Olivia, she wouldnโt bother wasting words on Amelia.
โIโve told you many times not to meet me here,โ Liliana spoke coldly.
Amelia, unfazed, responded, โMs. Liliana has given me such a great opportunity, I just want to show my gratitude for your support.โ
Liliana: โAmelia, if you donโt want trouble, youโd better stop these unnecessary actions.โ
After seeing Liliana off, the driver left, and during the peak of rush hour, the vast underground parking was left with only Amelia and Liliana. Amelia paused, then said, โI know Olivia is from St. Rona Academy, so I wanted to let you know that Olivia is from the same academy.โ
Liliana glanced at Amelia. โFrom today onwards, Oliviaโs issues will no longer trouble me.โ A chilling undertone flashed through Lilianaโs eyes, causing Amelia to shiver involuntarily.
โMs. Liliana, what do you mean by that?โ
Lilianaโs lips curled into a cold smile. โFrom tomorrow on, you probably wonโt see Olivia in the entertainment industry again. If you do, it might just be in other kinds of news.โ
A news story about a pop star tragically disfigured by the mobโsuch a sympathetic story, indeed! A flicker of alarm crossed Ameliaโs mind. She was about to say something when a sudden thud to the back of her head sent her into a world of pain, and she collapsed into darkness.
Just as Liliana was about to warn Amelia, she saw her slump to the ground, blood spreading from a wound on the back of her head. In an instant, a flicker of unease crossed Lilianaโs mind, and she instinctively turned around. The next second, a dusty burlap sack was thrown over her head!
