Daxton felt weary just watching the crowd’s constant comings and goings, especially those who fawned over others insincerely.

“Have the people from the Kenneth family arrived yet?” Daxton asked impatiently.

The butler replied, “Not yet, but the guard posted outside the Kenneth family’s home mentioned that Walden left in a car half an hour ago; he should be on his way here.”

Narrowing his eyes, Daxton plotted how to vent his spleen when the odious elder from the Kenneth family arrived.

“Go get the cane I had made a few days ago.”

“Cough, grandpa, this is Alexander,” Benjamin interjected, noticing his grandfather had completely ignored the other guest.

Only then did Daxton notice Alexander.

At the sight of Alexander, even Daxton was momentarily stunned. He had sent an invitation to the Wilson family as a formality.

But… Alexander, who never attended banquets, had actually come? And what’s more, he was brought along with Olivia by Benjamin. Could it be… they knew each other?
