Chapter 98: Catching a Couple in the Act

Olivia froze for a moment. No one celebrates Alice’s birthday?

Although she didn’t know much about Hudson’s family, she could vaguely tell they were well-off. And judging by how much Hudson doted on Alice, it didn’t seem like he would neglect his little princess’s birthday.

Benjamin watched helplessly as Alice successfully coaxed Olivia into leaving with her. Shameless! Using his own sister as a wingman? Benjamin didn’t believe for a second that no one in the Sullivan family would celebrate Alice’s birthday. Everyone knew she was the pampered little princess of the Sullivan family!

As soon as Alice got in the car, she clung to Olivia’s arm, clearly liking her more and more by the second. The bodyguard started driving toward the amusement park, which was the location Alice had picked for the day.

The moment they entered the park, Alice became like a free-spirited bird, pulling Olivia from one attraction to another. Her hands were soon too full of candy to hold any more, but she kept shoving pieces into her mouth. Although she was eight years old, her petite figure made her look like she was only five or six.

Olivia had spent her past life growing up in the countryside. After being brought back to the Carter family in the city, she had gotten married to Alexander not long after and never had the chance to visit an amusement park.

She couldn’t tell if it was just her imagination, but Olivia felt like someone was following them. She glanced around but didn’t notice anything unusual, except for a couple that suddenly caught her attention.

Under the Ferris wheel, Sophia was snuggled up with a well-dressed and handsome young man. Olivia recognized the man; he was a student at St. Rona Academy and also… Mia’s fiancé.

At that moment, Sophia was holding onto the man’s arm intimately, smiling brightly. Noticing Olivia’s gaze, Sophia turned her head. The moment she saw Olivia, her entire body froze, and she instinctively let go of the man’s arm. Olivia? Why is she here?

Sophia had always been known for her pure image at school. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to be caught on a date with Mia’s fiancé by Olivia! The engagement between the man and Mia was well-known throughout the school. Everyone knew he was Mia’s fiancé. If Olivia told others about this secret rendezvous, Sophia’s reputation at school would be ruined!

In an instant, cold sweat began to drip down Sophia’s forehead. But Olivia wasn’t interested in Sophia’s affairs and immediately looked away. However, Sophia felt like she had been plunged into icy water.
