Without hesitation, Daniel thrust his sword into Sarah’s heart.

Sarah looked at Daniel in pain, forcing herself to sit up straight.

Gazing at the blood droplets, Sarah, on the brink of death, had no time for lengthy words. She looked at Daniel with sorrowful eyes, whispering, “Daniel, I’m giving you back your blood. As for Chloe, I didn’t do any of what you accused me of.

“From now on, all ties and bonds between us are severed.”

With those words, Sarah collapsed to the ground, lifeless. The great master had vanished from that moment on.

Daniel stood there in disbelief, unable to fathom that Sarah, with her extraordinary skills, did not evade his strike.

Daniel asked, “No… Why didn’t you dodge? Did you want me to feel guilty? Do you want me to carry this guilt for the rest of my life?

“Why did you have to be so cruel?”

Daniel forcefully reintegrated the blood droplets into Sarah’s body with great intensity, yet she remained unmoving. Just then, Daniel’s junior, Jimmy Galler, came running over, joyfully informing Daniel, “Daniel, Chloe isn’t dead.”

“What?” Daniel’s eyes were wide and red as he looked at Jimmy.

Jimmy looked at Sarah lying on the ground and sneered, “Daniel, you killed this evil woman. Now you can finally be with Chloe, and no one will stand in your way anymore.”

Daniel sensed something was off and asked, “What do you mean by that? Why would I need to be with Chloe?”

Jimmy was surprised and claimed, “Daniel, haven’t you always liked Chloe? You even killed Sarah for her sake.”

Daniel responded, “I don’t have feelings for Chloe. I see her as a sister because she’s always been kind to me since we were children. I sought revenge because I believed she was dead. What do you mean she’s not dead?”

Daniel held up the sword in his hand, which was still stained with Sarah’s bright red blood.

Suddenly, someone remarked, “Daniel, you’ve been quite the fool. Chloe intentionally laid a trap for Sarah to create discord between you two, and you naively fell for it, leading to the demise of Sarah, who deeply cared for you.”

The speaker was Sarah’s senior, Zayn Sullivan.

These words were heard by Chloe, who had just arrived.

She stopped in her tracks, her face instantly turning pale.

Daniel looked at Sarah on the ground, not believing Zayn’s words. He said, “Zayn, you’re the same as her. It was always you two hurting me and Chloe.”

Zayn laughed maliciously and revealed, “I orchestrated your entrapment, had Sarah rescue you, and then schemed to drain your blood without ever disclosing the truth to her.

“I allowed Chloe to incriminate Sarah, all the while biding my time for this moment. I wanted you to harbor deep hatred for Sarah, because only if you were the one to kill her would she willingly meet her end by your blade.”

Zayn laughed heartily and wildly.

The truth was revealed, and even from behind the screen, Natalie could hear the sound of Daniel’s heart breaking.

It was just too tragic.

The story was eerily similar to Natalie’s previous life.

Sarah was as foolish as Natalie was, always considering so-called family ties, and in the end, she was killed by her kindness.

Daniel succumbed to madness, embarking on a dark path and initiating a massacre.

Natalie cried her heart out; her sobs were suppressed and restrained.

Easton watched Natalie sobbing quietly, his face growing dark because, like the character Daniel in the movie, he had been just as foolish. By the time things became irreversible, it was already too late for him to make any changes.

Beside Natalie sat a handsome young man who watched her cry sadly. He politely handed her a tissue.

He said, “Miss, please don’t cry over this. What a stupid storyline. The male lead’s such a fool. He couldn’t see through Chloe’s obvious trap. No wonder he’s gone crazy.”

Natalie chuckled and replied with a sob, “Thank you! I just feel so much like the female lead in the movie, and I also have a foolish husband.

“But still, thank you for talking to me. It really makes me feel better.”

Easton thought, ‘Darn Natalie. Does she always badmouth me like this in public?’

Natalie tilted her head, observing the handsome young man beside her with his vibrant energy.

Natalie’s tear-filled eyes sparkled like stars, incredibly bright.

The man’s eyes lit up, and he said, “Miss, you’re so beautiful. Is your husband blind?”

That remark made Natalie laugh out loud, and she wasn’t as upset anymore.

She laughed and replied, “Maybe. Let me get you some popcorn.”

They both lowered their voices.

“Sure! Miss, you look really young,” the man said with a cheerful grin at Natalie.

“I’m twenty-three this year. Still kind of young, right?” Natalie joked.

The man laughed more heartily and remarked, “We’re the same age! Did you tie the knot at such a young age? But even if you’re married, you can still enjoy life. What do you say we swap numbers? Perhaps we’re destined to be friends.”
