Madison closed her eyes, remaining silent. As long as she didn’t say anything, refusing to confess, they would relent after 24 hours with no evidence.

Samuel watched her, noting her refusal to speak. He pulled out a chair, sat down, and said, “You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. We’ll find out soon enough. The phone numbers in your phone were located, and they’re not far from the sea. This time, there’s no escape for you. If I’m not mistaken, the previous kidnappings were also linked to you. Once we prove it, you’ll both be facing the death penalty.” His voice was cold, and each word landed like a hammer.

Both Madison and Jasmine were frightened, but Madison, being a repeat offender, knew how to handle the police. Natalie walked toward her and raised her hand.

Natalie’s eyes narrowed, a cold smile on her lips. “Why don’t you call him and see if he dares to kill me? By the way, I’ve got evidence of what you did to Zoe at the hotel last time. I’ll hand it over to the police, and that should help you spend a few more years in prison,” Natalie added with a sly grin.

“W–what… what are you talking about?” Jasmine was shocked, thinking, ‘What other evidence does she have?’

“Natalie, don’t try to scheme against me. You can’t do it,” Jasmine shrieked.

Natalie just coldly smiled and ignored her, heading toward Zoe’s house across the street.

Jasmine stared at Natalie’s retreating figure, fear gripping her heart.

‘Did Natalie set me up last night?’ Jasmine thought. “Zoe was in Room 408 last night, so how did it end up being Samuel’s wife?”

“Natalie, come back here! Did you set me up? Did you set me up?” Jasmine screamed in desperation.

But Natalie had already walked far away, the sound of the storm masking her voice.

Jasmine was taken to the police station, where she immediately called Jason, asking him to arrange for someone to bail her out.

The call was quickly answered. “Hello?”

Hearing Jason’s voice, Jasmine sighed with relief and began to cry, “Jason, save me! Natalie set me up, she set me up! You have to come get me, I’ve been arrested by the police!”

Jason responded, “Natalie set you up? What did she set you up for?”

“She… she set me up… she framed me for stealing the child…” Jasmine stammered.

Samuel, unable to stand by any longer, interrupted, “Miss, the reason I told you to call your family is because you’re pregnant. We’ve already opened a case. It’s clear you planned to kidnap my son and extort three million dollars. How does it suddenly become someone else framing you? Is the message on your phone something someone forced you to send at knife point? You’re the one who sent the message about the three million ransom. The child you were trying to steal was Zoe’s, but you switched rooms halfway through, which is why you took the wrong child. Is this also Natalie’s scheme? “What?” Jason was stunned. ‘Why would Jasmine want to steal Zoe’s child? Wait… When did Zoe even get pregnant? And now the child is born?’ he wondered.

Jason, in shock, asked, “Officer, was Ms. Nelson’s child just born?”

Samuel’s eyes flashed with cold anger. His son was suffering, but he held back his fury, focusing on solving the case fairly.

“Sorry, she’s not my girlfriend, and the child she’s carrying is not mine. She just wants me to be the father. Let her call her family. I’m not her family,” Jason said firmly.

Jasmine, hearing this, was shocked. She cried out in disbelief, “Jason, what are you saying? The child in my belly is yours! Now that I’m in trouble, you won’t acknowledge it? Jason, didn’t you promise to marry me? You can’t do this to me?”

Jason, his voice filled with fury, yelled back, “Jasmine, Jennifer already told me the truth! Why don’t you have the baby tested? Call Brian, maybe he’ll come to save you, after all, you’re carrying his child! You two schemed together to make me the fool. Do you really think I’m that easy to manipulate?”

“Jason, no, it’s not like that! Everything was Jennifer’s plan! She told me to do it, you can’t just listen to her side of the story, this was all her doing!” Jasmine pleaded desperately.

Jason, heartbroken, cut her off. “Jasmine, I treated you so well, and yet you played hundreds of men, then turned around and humiliated me. You didn’t want to keep the child, so now you’re trying to keep it just for revenge. And Brian knows everything about you. He doesn’t want you because you’re filthy. You two were scheming against me!”

I’ve had plenty of time to investigate and uncover all the truth. I just regret being blinded by you. I gave you 15 thousand dollars a month to keep you happy while I gathered the truth.

“Jasmine, I planned to wait for you to have the baby and then do a paternity test, but I didn’t expect you’d be this evil, kidnapping another child and extorting 3 million dollars.”

Jasmine, now completely unraveling, screamed, “Jason, I know you love me. You have to take care of me! Or I’ll have your son killed!”

Jasmine was resorting to threatening Jason with Zoe’s child.

Jason was stunned and demanded, “Jasmine, what are you saying?”
