Daphne was shocked and utterly baffled. “Are you kidding me? It’s obviously the artist’s fault. What does it have to do with the brand or the host?”

Hearing Daphne’s silence, Joe felt like he had found an ally. “Exactly! I just can’t understand their logic. Do you know what the craziest part is?”

“There’s something crazier?”

“Of course! Last night, Yvonne’s fans spent the entire night repeatedly placing and canceling orders on our online store, causing major operational issues.”

“Things only returned to normal an hour ago! It almost affected today’s live stream! I’ve worked with many artists, but this is unprecedented. Honestly, what kind of artist attracts such behavior?!”

Joe was expressive. After enduring Yvonne and her fans’ nonsense and ridicule, he didn’t hold back his disdain.

“Seriously, as a working man, I must be incredibly unlucky to encounter someone like her.”

The more Joe spoke, the angrier he became.

Daphne tried to console him. “It’s alright. It’s all resolved. No need to worry. Leave yesterday’s mess to me. I’ll do my best to fix the damage. Let me get ready now.”

Daphne’s outfit projected the image of a professional career woman. She looked professional and confident. She got mic'd up and waited patiently for her cue.

“Let’s give a warm welcome to tonight’s live stream guest, Ms. Daphne Yeager!” Blake introduced her as she entered the room.

As she walked in, she waved and greeted the viewers warmly. “Hello, everyone! I’m Daphne Yeager!”

From beginning to end, she wore a bright, warm, and approachable smile.

After taking her seat, Blake smoothly transitioned to the evening’s main topic. Her radiant, confident expression put him at ease. The previous night’s fiasco had nearly ruined his career, leaving him anxious about working with celebrities. He was terrified another unprofessional artist would ruin everything again.

Under Blake’s guidance, Daphne introduced the first product. She picked up the perfume, sprayed some onto a scent card, waited a few seconds, and then took a gentle sniff.

She began, “This is one of my personal favorites. The top note offers a spicy, peppery scent, lending a crisp and cool sensation. As it fades, the middle note reveals a sexy, passionate rose scent that’s absolutely stunning. Finally, the base note settles into a soft, herbal aroma with a touch of sweetness—”

As soon as she finished, Blake let out an excited squeal. He didn’t even try to hide his amazement and admiration. “Wow! Ms. Yeager, you’re so professional! You know so much about our product!”

The detailed breakdown of the perfume’s notes wasn't even on the cue cards.

Daphne smiled modestly. “Thank you. I’m not just familiar with this product; I’m familiar with all your products. I use them myself.” Blake chuckled. “It looks like tonight’s going to be easy for us!”

The host’s genuine compliment, while harmless, stung Yvonne’s fans. They had been lurking in the live stream from the beginning. Hearing Blake’s comment, which they perceived as a slight, they couldn't contain themselves.
