After she finished speaking, Madelyn turned around, fearlessly staring at the thug known as Andy.

“Tell me, what do I need to do for you to let me take her away?”

“The rules are pretty straightforward,” Andy explained patiently. “We start from the same spot at a designated time. Whoever reaches the finish line first, wins.”

“If you win,” he proposed, “not only can you take your friend with you, but I’ll also reward you with a bonus—one million in cash.”

After a brief pause, Andy continued with a smirk, “Of course, if you lose, not only will you fail to leave, but you’ll have to pay me five million in return. Moreover, if luck isn’t on your side, there’s a good chance you might end up in a fatal accident. So, are you still willing to gamble with me?”

After Andy finished speaking, he was certain Madelyn wouldn’t dare accept the terms. He said, “This is your last chance to back out. It’s better if you quit now while you still can.”

The man was lean and tall, his features strikingly handsome. He appeared to be only a few years older than Madelyn.

His every movement brimmed with youthful energy. His irreverent and carefree demeanor was unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who saw him.

Thus, there was no way Madelyn could possibly forget him.
