Behind Madelyn, Adelar and the others had long been astounded by her outrageous actions. In fact, they were already on the brink of total insanity when she pretended to be Morgana and had them disguised as her one-eyed subordinates earlier.

They found it truly preposterous that she would dare impersonate Morgana. But strangely, Madelyn’s portrayal of Morgana was spot on. “Why? Do you not welcome me?” At that moment, she parted her red, thin lips and voiced out.

The leader of Hellfire Creed was instantly terrified, his legs giving out from fear. “How could that be? I’m more than happy to welcome you! I never expected you to come, so I apologize for my lack of hospitality. I hope you can forgive me.”

As he spoke these words, he was trembling all over. He had invested heavily in this mission, both in resources and manpower. Following the gunfight earlier, many of his subordinates had either been killed or wounded, and that undoubtedly left him beyond furious.

The voice was chilling to the bone, almost as if it had echoed from the depths of hell. The members of Hellfire Creed shuddered violently and asked apprehensively. “What do you mean?”

Madelyn laughed icily. “I overheard your negotiation just now.” She paused and pointed at Sebastian. “I’ve taken a liking to this man. Be it diamond mines, gold mines, or emerald mines, they’re all his. Now, I’ll give you five minutes to get out of here. Otherwise, no one is leaving.”

Her tone was incredibly domineering; the members of Hellfire Creed nearly had a heart attack hearing that.

This Morgana doesn’t hold back at all and is making excessive demands the moment she’s here! And most importantly, she even wants to protect that Lockhart brat!

Sensing the situation was off, the leader of Hellfire Creed immediately said, “Ms. Morgana, I’m truly sorry, but we discovered the mine first. We can’t hand it over to them…”

“This is nonsense!” Harriet suddenly let out a cold chuckle. “We discovered this mine together. You just wanted to monopolize it.”

“Is that so?” Madelyn gave a chilling smile upon hearing those words.

Her smile nearly scared the life out of the leader!

Fortunately, he was quick-witted and immediately said, “Ms. Morgana, if you still remember, our boss once had some connections with you. If you can help us get this diamond mine out of respect for our boss this time, we’ll give you half of it!”

Unexpectedly, the cold smirk on Madelyn’s face intensified. “Half? Hah…”

That voice sent tremors through the leader’s heart, and he quickly conceded, “No, no. If you prefer, we can split it seventy-thirty, or even eighty-twenty if you’d like!”

Even though he felt as if he was stabbed in the chest, he didn’t want to provoke her. But at the same time, he was reluctant to give up this mine as he had spent considerable time and energy on it, after all.

“If it really comes to it, we’ll split it ninety-ten. Would that work?” Seeing how she was unwilling to compromise, the leader had no choice but to push his limits.

However, Madelyn had lost her patience. What she wanted was the entire mine, as well as Sebastian.

As such, she sneered coldly. “I gave you all a chance, but since you chose to feign ignorance, don’t blame me for being rude.”

Madelyn’s lips quirked up slightly, and she took a step back and commanded, “Take action.”

Adelar nodded and stepped forward, brandishing his machine gun and unleashing a barrage toward the members of Hellfire Creed.

To his surprise, Madelyn burst into laughter.

Her fiery red lips curved into a smile, and she stopped before Sebastian and lifted his chin playfully. “No, do you really think I care about these mines? I don’t want it. Compared to that, I like you more.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Madelyn, seemingly on a whim, leaned in abruptly and planted a kiss on Sebastian’s lips.

In an instant, everyone was left utterly speechless….
