Those who truly messed up and caused harm never reflected on their actions. Instead, they shamelessly shifted blame, portraying themselves as victims. This was no different with Harvey or Kayla. Kayla never acknowledged her wrongdoings, even with the blood of two people on her hands.
After Felicia scolded him, Harvey lost control. Despite his bound hands, he flailed and lunged at her. Felicia, calm and collected, simply kicked him away. He crashed backward, tumbling into a pile of bottles and jars, groaning in pain.
"Felicia! You'll regret this! When I get back to Khogend, I'll destroy your Union Clinic! I'll tear you apart! You'll pay for everything Harmony Medical Center lost!"
Lying on the floor, Harvey screamed and cursed, his rage a torrent of threats. Felicia found it amusing. The Harmony Medical Center's destruction indicated a powerful culpritโfar beyond the Walsh family's reach. Yet, Harvey targeted Felicia, an easy victim. It was pathetic. Blaming her masked his fear and incompetence. He was spineless. Felicia let him rant until he was spent.
When his voice faltered, she spoke slowly, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Out of respect for Grandpa, I was going to let you live. But I've changed my mind. Good luck."
The private jet landed smoothly. Felicia departed without a glance at Harvey. He scoffed, thinking, "What audacity! She claimed she almost spared my life!" He sneered, contempt twisting his face. "I'm the head of the Walsh family! Who does she think she is?"
Spitting on the ground, Harvey didn't realize his spit landed on Maurice's shoe. Maurice, preoccupied with Felicia's ability to heal his legs, hadn't noticed the extra passenger. His expression darkened upon seeing the stained leather. One of his men quickly removed and discarded the shoe.
Harvey's heart leaped. He remembered this "cripple" had burned down Harmony Medical Center. Yet, bolstered by arrogance, Harvey glared defiantly at Maurice. Surely, even Maurice wouldn't kill himโhe was the head of the Walsh family.
Maurice's voice was cold and calm. "Find a helicopter and send him back to Khogend."
Harvey's smugness returned. They'd tied him up, but now they'd send him home. But Maurice added, with a chilling smile, "Throw him out when you're over Khogend's airspace."
Silence fell. The full weight of his words sank in: fly him back, yes, but throw him out over Khogend?
