Listen to this chapter:

Carmen finally realized her hands were greasy from flipping the tray. However, she ignored Felicia's offered napkin and left without a glance. Felicia sighed softly, watching Carmen go.

Kayla, at the back of the crowd, had hoped to see Felicia humiliated. To her dismay, Selena and Tasha, her "useless" friends, had been quickly defeated. As she searched for ways to torment Felicia, her gaze fell on Melvin, hurrying into the cafeteria.

Kayla approached him, her voice sweet. "Melvin, why so long? I've been waiting ages." The day before college started, she'd urged Melvin to lead the attack on Felicia, ensuring her short stay. As his most loyal admirer, he'd readily agreed. This seemed the perfect opportunity.

Kayla began to speak, but noticed Melvin frantically searching for Felicia. Distracted, he barely acknowledged her. "Kayla, I'm looking for Felicia. Could you move?" Kayla was stunned. Her smile faltered. "You want meโ€ฆ to move?"

Previously, Melvin had hovered incessantly. This dismissive tone was unprecedented. She expected an apology, as usual, but he simply nodded. "Yes."

Speechless, Kayla controlled her temper. Assuming he intended to act on her behalf, she overlooked his rudeness. "Go ahead, Melvin. Don't disappoint me," she said, smiling sweetly.

Across the cafeteria, the commotion was escalating, but the scandal surrounding Felicia paled in comparison to the rumors about Carmen. A group of guys watched a video, exclaiming, "Damn, Carmen looks so innocent, but she's wild behind the scenes!" "This is insane! Send it to me!" one demanded.

Engrossed, they didn't notice a flying fork. The phone slipped from the guy's grasp, but Felicia caught it. She tapped the screen, deleted the video, and tossed the phone back.

The guy stared, realizing the video was gone. "Youโ€”" they fumed. "What's this to you? Deleting my video? The forums are flooded! You think you can delete them all?" Felicia smiled slightly. "Can't help it. I love hearing dogs bark."

The guys, enraged, rolled up their sleeves. Then, Melvin burst through the crowd, shoving people aside. Their faces lit up. "Melvin, you said at the bar you'd get Felicia kicked out! She's right here! Let's deal with her!"

What followed stunned everyone. The usually arrogant Melvin dropped to his knees before Felicia with a loud thud.
