Chapter 85

Tyler's boldness surpassed even Blake's. Isabel found his voice grating, so she only contacted him when absolutely necessary.

As night fell, Tyler arrived with members of the Celestial Clan. Two hundred people, standing strong with hands clasped behind their backs, formed an impressive sight. When Isabel first encountered the Celestial Clan, they were disorganized. However, through rigorous training, she forged them into a skilled group. She then shared her methods with Tyler, who replicated her success, transforming the clan from a chaotic mob into a united force.

This applied primarily to the higher ranks. Lower-ranking members, such as Rex and his crew, remained disruptive. The Celestial Clan's size meant Rex's underlings weren't included in the main training program.

"Isabel, the two hundred individuals you requested are ready," a subordinate reported.

"Excellent! Here's the layout of Star Electronics, including the workshop," Isabel instructed, handing over schematics. "Familiarize them with it. We might face strong opposition tonight; ensure none are captured."

Soren believed their plan would cripple Star Electronics' security, leaving it vulnerable even with temporary replacements. He was wrong. Tyler's group proved highly skilled, a testament to Isabel's training. After a quick study of the blueprints, they memorized the building's layout. Under Tyler's leadership, they were prepared.

"Listen up!" Tyler addressed his team. "Tonight, you must stop any intruders. If any of you slack, you will lose an arm and be dismissed from the Celestial Clan." Their line of work demanded strict adherence to rules and severe punishments. Those who were inattentive were destined to fail.

"Yes!" the crowd responded, their voices louder than the previous security team.

As darkness fell, Star Electronics went on high alert. Soren rushed to David with news. "David, Isabel has amassed a large security force. The company is teeming with guards; our task is much harder!"

"Her again! That woman's a nuisance! How did she gather so many?" David wondered, amazed by her speed. Even with hired help, her efficiency was remarkable.

"David, should we proceed tonight?" Soren asked.

"Absolutely! We must act now. If we miss this chance, it's lost forever. Tonight, we show them our strength. Trying to oust me is a grave mistake!" David seethed, consumed by revenge.

"But—"

"No buts. Proceed confidently. Even with increased security, those new guards are outsiders. Send a few men to plant smoke bombs; no one will notice," David said.

"Understood! I'll do it immediately!"

"Mr. Preston, is it proper for Celestial Clan members to serve as mere security?" a subordinate asked Tyler.

"This is Isabel's order; it's to be obeyed without question. It's my honor to serve her. Anyone who slacks will face serious consequences, understand?" Tyler warned sharply.

"Yes, Mr. Preston!"

"Now, split up and patrol, especially around the warehouse. We cannot allow anyone inside."

Meanwhile, two former Star Electronics security guards, intimately familiar with the building's layout, stealthily entered. Knowing the shortcuts and less-traveled areas, they skillfully reached the warehouse, filled with finished goods. Setting a fire here would cause an explosion, and management would bear the blame. Just as they were about to enter, a hand fell on their shoulders.

Startled, they were quickly apprehended. "Two troublemakers! Luckily, we caught you; otherwise, we'd be in serious trouble tonight! Take them to Mr. Preston."

The Celestial Clan members easily overpowered them. They may not have been as formidable as Isabel's mercenaries, but they were still impressive.

Relaxing, Tyler idly played with a dart as his men brought in the two intruders. "Mr. Preston, we've caught two intruders."

"Bring them here!"

One, shocked, foolishly threatened them. "I warn you, release me, or you'll regret it! My superiors won't let this go!"

Tyler coldly tossed a dart, grazing the man's cheek. The man recoiled in terror.

"What do we do with them, sir?" a subordinate asked.

"In Ardenfall, making two people disappear isn't difficult," Tyler replied, a wicked gleam in his eyes.

"Understood!" the subordinate said, preparing to take them away.

"We were forced! We're just pawns! We're sorry!" They realized their mistake, but it was too late.

"Boost security; more might be coming. If anything goes wrong tonight, you disappear!" Tyler warned his men, knowing Isabel needed him and he couldn't fail her.

Later, Tyler quietly entered Isabel's office, finding her immersed in paperwork. "Isabel," he said.

She looked up, seeing his playful smile. "Did you catch them?"

"Absolutely! Just as you predicted! I've ensured they're gone for daring to cross you."

"Disappearing is a light punishment; they need a lesson."

"Still, Isabel, they were following orders; the person behind this…"

"No need to investigate further, I already know. It's obvious."

"You're the best! I love you!" Tyler exclaimed.
