The video continued to play. Meghan confessed to pushing Evangeline down a cliff. Terrified of Evangeline, Meghan had even publicly disgraced herself. Meghan and Samson conspired to spread rumors, bribing Jolene, Travis, and Kendrick to join their slander campaign. Everyone agreed.

The video also showed Evangeline crawling through the forest, swinging from vines, fighting monkeys, and even overpowering yellow-throated martens.

After the video ended, all six participants' faces fell. Even Evangeline, who had committed no wrongdoing, looked gloomy; her ungainly crawling and vine-swinging were hardly becoming of a female star. The stunt, shocking for any woman, was especially so for a star. Evangeline felt her image tarnished. "This production team is so shameless!" she muttered. "They ruined six stars at once!" Only the reporters below happily photographed the scene.

Then came the barrage of questions.

"Meghan," one reporter asked, "after watching this video, what do you have to say? Your actions here seem wildly different from what you just claimed!"

Another reporter pressed, "Meghan, you've maintained Evangeline's identity as the Gallagher family's daughter for twenty years. Why this ingratitude and continued targeting of Evangeline? Do you believe your actions were justified?"

A third reporter added, "Meghan, it's understandable to dislike Evangeline; her return threatened your position as the imposter. You didn't want to give up your luxurious Gallagher lifestyle and sought to eliminate Evangeline. But Samson posed no threat; he blindly supported you. Why such cruelty to him?"

"Meghan," another reporter demanded, "when Samson fell into the river, did you deliberately prevent Kendrick from saving him? Did you want him dead?"

Another reporter followed up, "Meghan, did you want Samson dead so you could slander Evangeline, or did you simply dislike him?"

Yet another chimed in, "Meghan, did you want to kill everyone in the Gallagher family to seize their property?" All questions were directed at Meghan.

Her vicious actions, a stark contrast to her public image, shocked and angered the audience. Meghan was speechless, her face pale and body trembling violently. Overwhelmed by the reporters' questions, she felt terrified and unable to respond, teetering on a mental breakdown. At the same time, intense anger consumed her. "Why," she thought, "was everything in the woods filmed? I'm doomed!"

"I'm completely doomed," she whispered at 10:30 AM.

"Meghan," a reporter continued, "you singled out Evangeline in the forest. Your instructions to Samson to bully and boss Evangeline suggest this wasn't the first time. Does this show how you privately treated her? Yet, you falsely claimed on camera that she bullied you?"

Another reporter asked, "You mentioned in the forest that your brother Edward made Evangeline sign a contract to intentionally embarrass you on the variety show. Is that true? Whose idea was it—yours or your brother's?"

"Did the Gallagher family genuinely dislike Evangeline, or did you sow discord among them?" a further reporter added.

Meghan remained silent, but the questions continued relentlessly. She vigorously shook her head and shouted, "It's not true! This video is fake! The production team must have edited it to make us look bad! Evangeline must have bribed them to ruin us all! She sleeps with the staff on every movie and variety show to get what she wants! This has already been exposed online! She must have done it again, bribing the entire team to hype herself and destroy us!"

Dallas’ face fell. He grabbed the microphone and said angrily, "Meghan, don't slander us! If you dare speak nonsense again, I will sue you for defamation!"

He continued, "Forgery? How can you even say that? Where would I find six people who look exactly like you to create this fake video? It's obviously real! If CGI were this good, we wouldn't need real actors!"

Dallas's retort silenced Meghan. He sneered, "Look at you now. Your resentful eyes are exactly the same as in the video. Does anyone still think it's fake?"

Meghan clutched her head and screamed, "No!" She broke down, crying and falling to the ground, bitterly exclaiming, "How could you film us secretly without permission? You're breaking the law! I'll sue you! You've ruined my reputation! I won't spare you. I'll make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison!"

Dallas scoffed. "Who said I secretly filmed you without permission? The contract clearly states that 'During the variety show, there may be secret shooting (candid photography) for better access to materials. Party B knows and voluntarily accepts this action.'"

He added, "Except for Evangeline, I signed the contract with all five of you. I read each clause aloud, confirming your understanding and addressing any objections. You raised none. Lawyers were present, and the signing was recorded. If you deny it, I can show everyone the video. Let them decide if I'm lying."

Meghan trembled with rage. She'd dismissed those contract clauses as empty threats, assuming secret shooting meant only surprise moments, like filming someone unmade-up in the morning. The others thought the same. Instead, the production team used hidden cameras for six of the seven shooting days, as explicitly stated in the contract. They had misunderstood and were now forced to accept the consequences. Dallas was acting within the contract; they couldn't sue him.

Dallas continued, "Before entering the forest, I warned you to behave yourselves, reminding you that you were always being watched. You ignored my words. Even if you had ignored them, if you had integrity, at most, you'd be embarrassed. But your malice led to this situation."
