Chapter 1018: Theodore at Home

Little Bunny ignored the woman's tirade, unwilling to waste time. She started to enter the room. Enraged by being ignored, the woman shoved Little Bunny, causing her to stumble. Little Bunny took several steps back, her expression hardening.

"I won't let you in! What are you going to do about it?" the woman sneered.

Little Bunny glared at her and called out, "Theodore!"

The woman smirked. "Theodore's asleep. You can't wake him."

"Move aside!" Little Bunny's patience snapped.

"No way!" the woman retorted fiercely. "I won't let you in, and I want to know who you are! Why do you think you can just barge in and demand to see someone?"

The woman snatched off Little Bunny's glasses. Little Bunny gritted her teeth as the woman discarded the glasses and lunged, attempting to rip off her mask. Little Bunny struggled, her face scratched by the woman's nails.

"Let go!" Little Bunny fought back, but the woman's strength proved too much. Finally, the woman tore off the mask. Little Bunny instinctively shielded her face. The woman saw her face, a hint of surprise crossing her features before morphing into a satisfied smirk.

"So, that's who's been so secretive. Our superstar!"

Little Bunny glared.

"They say Little Bunny's a talented actress, but it seems you've played the game well! Tell me, what did Theodore give you? How did you thrive in showbiz and even become a 'virtuous woman'?" The woman's sarcasm dripped. "Teach me! I want to be a star too."

"Excuse me, I'm going to find Theodore!"

"Tell me how you secured Theodore's support first, then I'll moveโ€ฆ Ah!" The woman screamed as Little Bunny, provoked beyond endurance, shoved her hard against the door.

Little Bunny entered the room, finding it in disarray and empty. She turned to see the woman entering behind her.

"Do you think Theodore's waiting for you? Little Bunny, don't be foolish. You don't know what kind of man Theodore is. He's not loyal to any woman. Enjoy him while you can, because tomorrow he might abandon you!"

"Where did he go?"

"How would I know?" the woman mocked. "If he went somewhere, would he tell me?"

Little Bunny knew she wouldn't get answers.

"Give me back my mask!"

The woman tossed the mask to Little Bunny, who donned it and left, retrieving her glasses from the hallway floor. The woman watched her go, then smiled wickedly, picking up her phone.

"Hey, is your friend working as a paparazzo?"

"What's up? Got a story?"

"Little Bunny's being kept," she said confidently.

"What?! Little Bunny's clean!" the person protested.

"I'm not lying! I won't say who, but she's not clean. Your friend hasn't had a good story lately, right? This is a big one!"

"Thanks," the person hung up, leaving the woman with a cold smile.

"Don't blame me if something bad happens, Little Bunny. Theodore doesn't care about anyone, but he treated you differently," she mused bitterly.

Last night, Theodore's call had excited her. They always had fun; his bed skills were exceptional. But last night, he suddenly lost interest and pushed her away. It was unprecedented. He seemed preoccupied. She suggested they drink instead. They ordered takeout, drank heavily, and fell asleep.

Theodore woke early, showered, and his phone rang. She answered. Another woman's voice enraged her. Theodore never let women call him; he contacted them. This woman's casual confidence fueled her anger, despite nothing happening between her and Theodore last night.

After hanging up, she didn't tell Theodore. When he emerged from the shower, she made another advance, but he rejected her again. Feeling resentful, she watched him leave. Shortly after, Little Bunny arrived.

She never expected it to be Little Bunny. No one in show business was clean. If Little Bunny were exposed, it would be all on her.

Little Bunny left the hotel, feeling dejected; today was their divorce finalization. She called Theodore.

"Little Bunny! Where were you?!" Theodore sounded exasperated. "Aren't we getting divorced? What's going on? Having second thoughts?"

"Where are you?" Little Bunny asked calmly, though furious inside. "Home! If you're not back in ten minutes, I'm going back to the capital!"

He hung up.

Little Bunny rarely lost control, but she threw her phone onto the passenger seat. She knew Theodore wouldn't wait more than ten minutes. At her current speed, it would take twenty. She gripped the steering wheel, floored the accelerator, and sped off.
