Chapter 167: The Spokesperson, Little Bunny

Yan made several phone calls before obtaining Howard Evans's number. They arranged to meet at a coffee house. Howard Evans arrived with Little Bunny, an actress Hannah had requested to see. Both men appeared flattered, clearly surprised by the prospect of working with the Cooper Group.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Evans," Hannah greeted first.

"Nice... nice to meet you, Ms. Cooper," Howard Evans replied nervously, his voice slightly stuttering as he shook her hand.

Hannah then greeted Little Bunny: "Ms. Bunny."

Flattered, Little Bunny extended her hand. "Good to see you, Ms. Cooper." They shook hands.

Hannah studied Little Bunny, realizing she didn't actually remember her from a past life, despite Little Bunny's striking beauty. She'd seen her on television, but the connection only solidified upon recognizing Little Bunny as Theodore's future wife. However, that was many years in the future; she hadn't yet met Theodore, who was still a playboy, while Little Bunny remained relatively unknown in show business.

Little Bunny, slightly unsettled by Hannah's prolonged gaze, asked, "Ms. Cooper, have we met before?"

The question sparked a fleeting feeling of dรฉjร  vu for Little Bunny, a hint of familiarity.

"I suppose not," Hannah said, releasing Little Bunny's hand. "I guess I was simply captivated by your beauty."

Little Bunny blushed slightly. "You are beautiful yourself," she replied sincerely. "I found you stunning at your wedding to Mr. Wells, and even more so in person."

Little Bunny, though confident in her own appearance, knew she couldn't compete with Hannah's undeniable beauty, a quality that would undoubtedly propel her to the top even in the highly competitive world of entertainment.

"You're too kind," Hannah replied politely, smiling. "Please, have a seat."

Little Bunny and Howard sat down. Hannah proceeded directly to the purpose of their meeting. "To be frank, we'd like to ask Little Bunny to be the spokesperson for our Light Building. Would you consider the honor?"

Howard's excitement was palpable. He hadn't anticipated such an opportunity, having endured numerous setbacks and struggles in the industry. The prospect of representing the second most powerful group in the nation felt almost dreamlike.

"Of course," Hannah confirmed. "I've brought the contract." She instructed Rose to retrieve it.

Yan, upon seeing the contract, was visibly shocked. His surprise quickly morphed into disbelief.

"Ms. Cooper, what do you think you're doing?" he exclaimed, his concern evident.

"I never intended to sign Win," Hannah explained. "Little Bunny's popularity can't compare to Win's. Even if we didn't get Win, we should at least secure an A-list celebrity. What is this? Are you kidding me?"

Little Bunny, embarrassed and frightened by the mention of Win, understood the vast discrepancy in their levels of fame. The idea that Cooper Group would forgo Win for her was almost incomprehensible.

"I'm not kidding," Hannah stated firmly. "I planned to sign Little Bunny all along, and this contract was prepared in advance."

Yan skeptically examined the contract, his eyes widening as he processed the figures. "You want to sign her for thirty million?"

Little Bunny and her agent were stunned. The offer seemed unreal; a seven-figure deal would have been a significant achievement, but thirty million was beyond anything they could have imagined.

"I have my reasons," Hannah stated, anticipating Yan's objections. "First, the endorsement fee from Cooper Group must be at least thirty million to avoid appearing cheap. Second, Little Bunny's career is still developing. A thirty-million-dollar offer will significantly boost her career, potentially turning her into an A-list star, benefiting us in the long run."

"What if she can't achieve that?" Yan challenged.

"She definitely can," Hannah replied with unwavering confidence.

Little Bunny felt the weight of Hannah's faith, a sudden surge of pressure to succeed.

Before Yan could respond, Hannah continued, "That settles it. I'll explain to the board myself. I won't put you on the spot."

Yan, recognizing Hannah's resolve and her position as the President's daughter, remained silent. What could he possibly say?

"Mr. Evans, Ms. Bunny, if you have no further questions about the contract, shall we sign?" Hannah asked, passing them the document.

Howard Evans carefully reviewed the contract, while Little Bunny, still in disbelief, also read through the terms.

After a moment, Howard spoke. "No problem, Ms. Cooper, but I do have one question. I'm still confused as to why you'd choose her; she's new to the business."

Hannah smiled slightly. "Let's just say it's instinct. Would you believe that?"

Her smile didn't quite mask the lack of sincerity. Everyone present saw through the explanation.

Hannah admitted plainly, "Thanks to someone."

"Who?" Little Bunny asked inquisitively.

"Your future husband, Theodore."
