Listen to this chapter:

It was 3:00 PM, and Rose knocked on Hannah's door.

"What's the matter?" Hannah asked, preoccupied with her work.

"The Comprehensive Department is upgrading security today," Rose explained. "Their staff will be using cameras in the company after hours, so we should secure our personal belongings."

Hannah felt a sudden unease. She suspected something was amiss.

Rose called out, "Ms. Hannah?" as Hannah fell silent.

"Okay, I see. You may go," Hannah finally replied.

"Yes," Rose responded, departing.

Hannah immediately called Theodore.

"Anything I can do for you, Mrs. Wells?" Theodore asked, his tone slightly annoyed; Hannah had sought his help several times recently.

"Can you buy me a hidden camera?" Hannah asked.

"Seriously? You can buy one anywhere. Do you really need my help?" Theodore retorted.

"Yes, I'm serious. I feel like I'm being watched, and direct action is too risky. I need your help, or I might lose more than I gain."

"Fine. I'll buy one," Theodore conceded.

"When you get it, put it in a bouquet of flowers and send it to me in the name of Oscar."

"How cautious," Theodore remarked.

"My opponent isn't weak," Hannah replied.

"Okay," Theodore said.

Hannah hung up, still feeling apprehensive.

Meanwhile, Charles received a call from Wayne.

"Everything's done," Wayne said. "I arranged for the Comprehensive Department to disable all company cameras tonight."

"Well done," Charles replied. "I've been watching Hannah. I'll let you know if she takes any action. Just proceed with your plan."

"Okay."

At 5:00 PM, a large bouquet of flowers arrived for Hannah, attracting considerable attention. Receiving ninety-nine red roses, Hannah thought Theodore had gone overboard. She hadn't anticipated such a lavish display.

Wouldn't this attract attention? she worried.

Despite her inner reservations, Hannah appreciated the beautiful flowers. She believed every woman enjoyed such things. Theodore must be an experienced womanizer, she mused, and I look forward to the day Little Bunny captures this playboy's heart.

She found a greeting card that read: "My love for you is like the wind that has traveled thousands of miles, never tiring, never asking for a return date. From Oscar."

Hannah smiled. Theodore knew how to play the Oscar role perfectly. She opened the flowers and found the camera concealed within.

Suddenly, Oscar called.

"Do you like it?" he asked.

Hannah was taken aback.

"The roses," Oscar clarified.

"It was you?" Hannah asked.

"Do you think I'd let another man send you flowers?" he replied.

"..."

What a possessive man, she thought.

"Do you like them?" Oscar asked again.

"Sure," Hannah replied.

"I'm glad," Oscar said. "Talk to you later. I'm going to a meeting."

He hung up. Hannah pondered the call, appreciating Oscar's busy schedule yet thoughtful gestures. He always knew how to tug at her heartstrings.

Rose knocked on the door.

Hannah refocused. "Come in."

Rose entered. "I'm here, Ms. Hannah."

Hannah, after receiving the flowers, called Rose.

"Okay, help me install this camera near your safe. Keep it well hidden," Hannah instructed, showing Rose the small camera.

"Do you think someone's trying to steal documents?" Rose asked, surprised.

"We need to be vigilant," Hannah replied.

"Okay," Rose agreed, understanding the gravity of the situation.

Later, Wayne received a call from Charles, urging immediate action. After Charles finished speaking, Wayne said, "Hannah seems to be seriously involved with Oscar."

Charles was startled. "What do you mean?"

"It's a shame you broke off your engagement with her. If we'd recognized Hannah's capabilities, you should have been tempted by Jane."

"Stop it. I have no interest in Hannah, and I have no regrets," Charles said coldly.

Wayne remained unconvinced, believing every man now desired Hannah.

"Every woman knows she received flowers from Oscar. Women gossip, you know. They're comparing you to him."

"Wayne, focus on what matters! Why are you listening to gossip?" Charles snapped.

"I'm saying, don't pity her when she falls from power," Wayne persisted.

"I'll let her live in hell!" Charles gritted his teeth and hung up.

How comfortable her life is, how miserable it will become! he thought.

Hannah left work at 9:00 PM. While driving, she received a call from Rose.

"Ms. Hannah, I've been robbed. I parked my car at home, and Iโ€ฆIโ€ฆ" Rose stammered, clearly frightened.

"Calm down, Rose," Hannah soothed. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, but my bag was snatched, and my safe key was in it. Should I go back to the office?" Rose tried to compose herself.

"No," Hannah said. "Call the police immediately."

"Should I? I think it was deliberate. I've never been robbed before," Rose worried.

"Call the police. I'll handle it."

"Okay." Rose called the police and anxiously awaited their arrival.

Meanwhile, Charles called Wayne. "I have the key. Meet at our designated location; someone will deliver it to you."

"Okay," Wayne replied, stressed.

Ten minutes later, Wayne received the key and hurried back to the company, avoiding security and using the fire escape. He reached the 23rd floor, exhausted, entered Rose's office, opened the safe, found the USB drive, copied the data to his own drive, and returned everything to its place. He believed his actions were undetected. However, Hannah's camera had captured everything.
