Chapter 941: Confrontation Between Hannah and Lillian

Inside the warehouse, Hannah stared at Lillian’s gun, aimed directly at her. Lillian wore a fierce grin. Hannah’s heart pounded, terror seizing her. Trying to remain calm, she said, “Lillian, you wanted revenge against Oscar, right?”

Lillian laughed sinisterly. “Hannah, what kind of deal do you want to make this time?”

“If you want revenge on Oscar so badly, why not use me as leverage?”

Lillian sneered. “Do you think Oscar would be threatened by your life? He’s cruel and heartless. Do you believe he has any emotions?”

“What kind of person is Oscar? I don’t believe you don’t know him,” Hannah pressed.

Lillian’s voice cracked with emotion. “I know him so well! I trusted him too much, and this is the result!”

“Then why are you killing me?”

“I can’t stand looking at you! From the beginning, I wanted nothing more than to kill you!” Lillian’s anger flared. “Finding out Oscar liked you only intensified my desire! Now I can achieve my goal before dying. I have no regrets.”

“So, in the end,” Hannah concluded, “you still care about Oscar.” Lillian narrowed her eyes.

“Because you care about him, you want to kill me—for revenge, or release?” Hannah pointed out.

Lillian felt exposed. Her hatred for Hannah stemmed from Oscar. Why did he love Hannah so much? What made Hannah superior? For years, Oscar had remained indifferent to Lillian, despite their history. These thoughts further agitated her.

“You know deep down that Oscar loves me,” Hannah stated, her conviction unwavering. If Lillian didn’t believe this, she wouldn’t want to kill Hannah.

“If you honestly thought Oscar was hurting me—if you thought we were both victims—you wouldn’t want to kill me,” Hannah continued, her certainty unshaken.

Lillian trembled uncontrollably, filled with rage that Hannah saw through her.

“Since you understand Oscar likes me, why not use me to get revenge? Would killing me feel better? Shouldn’t you make Oscar suffer to ease your hatred?” Hannah deliberately provoked her.

Lillian’s fingers trembled on the gun.

“You’re already doing that,” Hannah said calmly. “From the moment you called me, you knew Oscar would find you. To put it bluntly, you’re luring Oscar, letting him know I’m in your hands, that he has to go through me for revenge!”

Lillian glared. She was smart, Lillian admitted. That’s why Hannah remained calm under the gun, why she faced her threats with such composure.
