Chapter 941: Confrontation Between Hannah and Lillian

Inside the warehouse, Hannah stared at Lillianโ€™s gun, aimed directly at her. Lillian wore a fierce grin. Hannahโ€™s heart pounded, terror seizing her. Trying to remain calm, she said, โ€œLillian, you wanted revenge against Oscar, right?โ€

Lillian laughed sinisterly. โ€œHannah, what kind of deal do you want to make this time?โ€

โ€œIf you want revenge on Oscar so badly, why not use me as leverage?โ€

Lillian sneered. โ€œDo you think Oscar would be threatened by your life? Heโ€™s cruel and heartless. Do you believe he has any emotions?โ€

โ€œWhat kind of person is Oscar? I donโ€™t believe you donโ€™t know him,โ€ Hannah pressed.

Lillianโ€™s voice cracked with emotion. โ€œI know him so well! I trusted him too much, and this is the result!โ€

โ€œThen why are you killing me?โ€

โ€œI canโ€™t stand looking at you! From the beginning, I wanted nothing more than to kill you!โ€ Lillianโ€™s anger flared. โ€œFinding out Oscar liked you only intensified my desire! Now I can achieve my goal before dying. I have no regrets.โ€

โ€œSo, in the end,โ€ Hannah concluded, โ€œyou still care about Oscar.โ€ Lillian narrowed her eyes.

โ€œBecause you care about him, you want to kill meโ€”for revenge, or release?โ€ Hannah pointed out.

Lillian felt exposed. Her hatred for Hannah stemmed from Oscar. Why did he love Hannah so much? What made Hannah superior? For years, Oscar had remained indifferent to Lillian, despite their history. These thoughts further agitated her.

โ€œYou know deep down that Oscar loves me,โ€ Hannah stated, her conviction unwavering. If Lillian didnโ€™t believe this, she wouldnโ€™t want to kill Hannah.

โ€œIf you honestly thought Oscar was hurting meโ€”if you thought we were both victimsโ€”you wouldnโ€™t want to kill me,โ€ Hannah continued, her certainty unshaken.

Lillian trembled uncontrollably, filled with rage that Hannah saw through her.

โ€œSince you understand Oscar likes me, why not use me to get revenge? Would killing me feel better? Shouldnโ€™t you make Oscar suffer to ease your hatred?โ€ Hannah deliberately provoked her.

Lillianโ€™s fingers trembled on the gun.

โ€œYouโ€™re already doing that,โ€ Hannah said calmly. โ€œFrom the moment you called me, you knew Oscar would find you. To put it bluntly, youโ€™re luring Oscar, letting him know Iโ€™m in your hands, that he has to go through me for revenge!โ€

Lillian glared. She was smart, Lillian admitted. Thatโ€™s why Hannah remained calm under the gun, why she faced her threats with such composure.
