“But last time at the Weller residence, Andrew walked away unharmed from the family elders,” Irene persisted hopefully.

Christina shook her head. “Mom, Andrew may have some skills, but the situation isn't as simple as you saw. After returning from the Weller residence, I spoke with Bruce and Jackie. They confirmed Andrew only succeeded because of their prior efforts. Had they not already weakened the Weller elders, Andrew would have been killed.”

“Oh, so that's how it was!” Irene exclaimed, understanding dawning on her face. “I wondered why they helped us—they were letting Andrew take the credit!”

“That's why I never considered asking Andrew for help,” Christina explained. “Now that Harvey has his way, Andrew can barely protect himself, let alone help others.”

Irene spat in disgust. “And I thought that loser was some hidden strength—he's just as useless as ever! I was blind to think he could save us.”

“I think Andrew is keeping his true abilities hidden,” Leroy said skeptically. “Christie, maybe we’ve been wrong about him. What if he is powerful?”

Christina responded icily, “This isn’t the time for such speculation. Stevens Corporation has weathered many storms, and the Weller family won't be our downfall. Since we have no better options, I want to see what Harvey can truly do.”

“Christie, are you planning to fight Harvey to the bitter end?” Irene asked.

Christina’s eyes gleamed with determination. “Yes. Moreover, Bruce and Jackie have contacted their superiors again. This time, they're sending direct family members as reinforcement.”

Irene and Leroy’s faces lit up. “That’s fantastic! The direct family members must be incredible. Harvey's good days are numbered!”

Christina said calmly, “Brute force alone won't solve our problems. I understand the arriving family member isn't a fighter, but an expert in strategy and management.”

She continued, “They're here to help us break free from the Weller family and align with Blumedale. It’s perfect timing—I want to learn how to better manage the corporation and strengthen our family.”

Irene chimed in excitedly, “The direct family members are carefully groomed and educated abroad. Not just you, Christie—Leroy and I should learn from them and improve ourselves!”

Just then, Christina’s secretary burst in. “Ms. Stevens, Mr. Weller has stormed the corporation with his men!”

Christina, though shocked, remained composed. She said coldly, “That bastard is fast. Tell security to hold them off.”

The secretary’s face was pale and trembling. “Ms. Stevens, security tried to stop them, but it was useless. The Weller men beat them all up; they can’t even move.”

“Useless cowards!” Irene cursed. Her bravado faltered. She turned to Christina, asking desperately, “Christie, what do we do? Think of something!”
