Chapter 629
Someone mocked, โHeh, the sign says, โNo entry for anyone from Rhodes Corporationโs Pharmaceutical Division or dogs.โ Doesnโt that mean people from Rhodes Corporation are worse than dogs? Hahaha!โ
Another commented, โMr. Brunner of Glorious Pharmaceuticals is a real entrepreneur here in Jayrodale. Rhodes Corporation may have a big name, but Mr. Brunner clearly doesnโt care about that!โ
โWithout a doubt, Rhodes Corporationโs Pharmaceutical Division must have offended Mr. Brunner. Sure, Rhodes has a huge reputation in Jayrodale, but in front of Mr. Brunner, theyโre nothing. They have to come crawling and begging!โ
Glorious Pharmaceuticals employees, as well as others passing by, stopped to watch and gossip about Andrew and Marcus. The employees, especially, could not hide their contempt, their expressions dripping with disdain.
Marcus turned to the security guard, his voice cold. โWe havenโt done anything to offend Mr. Brunner, have we? Why would he pull something like this without any reason?โ
The security guard crossed his arms and sneered. โThatโs not something a small security guard like me can know. But Mr. Brunner gave the orders. So, sorry, but you need to leave.โ
Marcus was furious but held back his anger and turned to Andrew. โMr. Lloyd, letโs go. Glorious Pharmaceuticals is arrogant and self-important. We can go to another place. We donโt have to work with them.โ
However, Andrew remained calm. He glanced at the poster and asked the security guard, โAre you sure Mr. Brunner ordered this?โ
The security guard, his nose in the air, grinned smugly. โOf course. How about it? Donโt you think Mr. Brunner has great taste?โ
Andrewโs reply was blunt. โMr. Brunnerโs taste is no better than trash. Now, take that poster down and send Mr. Brunner out here to apologize. Then, weโll consider this matter settled.โ
The security guard blinked in surprise, then burst out laughing. โWhat did you say? Mr. Brunner is trash? You want Mr. Brunner to apologize to you? Ha, are you out of your mind?โ
At that moment, a few of Glorious Pharmaceuticalsโ management team walked over.
One sharply dressed man frowned and asked, โWhatโs going on here?โ
The security guard pointed at Andrew and reported, โMr. Mudge, this little guy dared to say Mr. Brunnerโs taste is trash.โ
โHeโs so clueless, he even thinks Mr. Brunner should apologize to him. Do you think this punk is getting too full of himself?โ
Kenneth Mudge adjusted his glasses, turned to Andrew, and smiled. โSo, youโre with Rhodes Corporationโs Pharmaceutical Division, huh? Are you really asking Mr. Brunner to apologize to you?โ
Andrew looked at him calmly. โYou insult someone out of nowhere, and I need to be sure? Hurry up and have Mr. Brunner come out and explain himself. Weโre here to discuss a partnership, not to cause trouble. So, if Mr. Brunner apologizes, weโll consider letting bygones be bygones.โ
Kenneth tilted his head, scratched his ear, and laughed with his colleagues. โItโs unbelievable. There are always people who think theyโre someone special.โ
He continued, โYou guys hear what this idiot just said? Heโs just a low-level employee at Rhodes Corporationโs Pharmaceutical Division, and he has the nerve to ask Mr. Brunner for an apology. This little punk clearly needs a lesson!โ
The other managers from Glorious Pharmaceuticals, all in suits and looking important, snickered at Andrew. One of them spoke up. โKenneth, donโt waste your time on a nobody like him. His monthly salary probably doesnโt even cover one of our clubbing nights. Why bother with this bottom-tier trash?โ
โThinking Mr. Brunner will apologize to him? Heโs definitely lost it. If Mr. Brunner showed up, heโd probably scare the crap out of this guy.โ
