Chapter 628

Marcus said, โ€œRight now, we only have a few samples. If we try to compete with Michael using just these, it wonโ€™t be convincing at all!โ€

Andrew nodded. โ€œThat makes sense. Then letโ€™s go to the factory and get a batch of both miracle drugs produced. Weโ€™ll release them into the market and see how they perform!โ€

Marcus remarked darkly, โ€œSpeaking of this, Mr. Lloyd, you might not know: Michael has already made arrangements with our suppliers on the manufacturing side.โ€

Andrew sneered. โ€œWhat kind of dirty tricks is that trash pulling behind the scenes now?โ€

Marcus gritted his teeth. โ€œThe suppliers are all leaning toward Michael. Theyโ€™ve agreed to work with him exclusively. Iโ€™ve been to them a few times now, and each time, they came up with some excuse to delay. Finally, they just flat out told me theyโ€™ll only cooperate with Michael.โ€

Andrew remained calm. โ€œGood medicine is rare, but there are plenty of factories. Donโ€™t worry, weโ€™ll find another partner.โ€

At the moment, Lauren was negotiating with Eunice and Tiana, dealing with Michael. Andrew did not want to interrupt her, and he definitely would not go begging Tiana. So, he and Marcus left Rhodes Corporation together.

โ€œMr. Lloyd, handling outside business isnโ€™t easy. Why donโ€™t you rest at the company while I handle this? I can take care of it,โ€ Marcus suggested, feeling guilty.

With Andrewโ€™s esteemed position as a board member, it seemed beneath him to be running business errands.

Andrew casually replied, โ€œMr. Chapman, thereโ€™s no need to be so formal. Iโ€™m not great at handling business anyway. Iโ€™m just coming along to watch. Itโ€™s not like Iโ€™ll be exhausted!โ€

Marcus chuckled. โ€œMr. Lloyd, youโ€™re so straightforward and humble. No wonder Ms. Rhodes has taken a liking to you!โ€

Andrew laughed. โ€œMr. Chapman, are you trying to flatter me now?โ€

Marcus sighed. โ€œI have to, donโ€™t I? In the short half-month Iโ€™ve known you, Mr. Lloyd, youโ€™ve gone from being the deputy chief at Jayrodale General Hospital to becoming a major shareholder in Rhodes Corporation.

โ€œAnd thatโ€™s not even the most impressive part. Youโ€™ve saved my life and even dealt with the Weller family for us. Honestly, Iโ€™ve never met anyone like you, Mr. Lloydโ€”someone who can handle everything so effortlessly and make it all look easy!โ€

They chatted as they quickly drove to the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Jayrodale: Glorious Pharmaceuticals!

Marcus handed his business card to the security guard at the entrance. โ€œHello, weโ€™re with Rhodes Corporationโ€™s Pharmaceutical Division. Iโ€™m the department director, Marcus Chapman, here to visit Mr. Stephen Brunner.โ€

The security guard glanced at the card and shook his head. โ€œSorry, gentlemen. Mr. Brunner has given specific instructionsโ€”no visitors from Rhodes Corporationโ€™s Pharmaceutical Division.โ€

Marcus frowned. โ€œNo one from our Pharmaceutical Division? What does Mr. Brunner mean by that? Weโ€™ve had several collaborations with Glorious Pharmaceuticals before.โ€

The security guard replied, โ€œIโ€™m just following orders. As for the reason, Mr. Chapman, you can take a look at this.โ€

As Andrew and Marcus watched, the guard pulled out a large poster and hung it up next to the entrance of Glorious Pharmaceuticals.

It read: [No Entry for Rhodes Corporationโ€™s Pharmaceutical Division or Dogs!]

The massive poster, at least four meters long, immediately caught the attention of everyone entering and exiting the building.

The guard grinned, โ€œMr. Chapman, this is a personal request from Mr. Brunner. What do you think? Satisfied?โ€

Marcusโ€™ face darkened, his expression turning stormy.
