Chapter 631: Shen Qianqian’s Plans

The dealer’s face fell, but he quickly recovered, handing the dice to his partner before leaving. Ye Mo knew he’d been signaled.

Shen Qianqian gathered the chips, placing them on her plate. She looked at Ye Mo and asked, “Should we keep playing?”

Ye Mo smiled. “No need, let’s leave.” He wasn’t here for gambling, but for the Black Sun people. Their departure meant his could follow.

Ye Mo used his spirit sense to scan the area. He noticed the woman, the short, black man, and another man gathered in a single room. He wanted to eavesdrop and discover their interest in the Five Element Rock.

Seeing Ye Mo and Shen Qianqian leave, everyone watched with envy. Winning 500 million in one go was astounding.

“Go exchange the chips; I’m going to sleep for a while,” Ye Mo said, noticing the dealer headed toward the room where the three were gathered. He wanted to investigate immediately.

“Wait. After I exchange the chips, I’ll give you the card, and then you can leave,” Shen Qianqian stopped him. She was hesitant about exchanging hundreds of millions alone. No one on this ship was trustworthy, and the money belonged to Ye Mo.

Shen Qianqian knew most passengers were involved in shady dealings. How else could they afford such lavish lifestyles?

Shen Qianqian hesitated, then took the card. “Okay, I’ll keep it. But, Brother Ye, are you free? If you have no plans, join me for a drink. Or, you can rest in my room.” She seemed to have realized Ye Mo had nowhere to sleep.

Before Ye Mo could refuse, Shen Qianqian smiled. “Don’t tell me you’re busy. When you entered the casino, I smelled perfume on you. You probably came from the bar, right? If you can accompany strangers, then you should treat me the same.”

Ye Mo scanned the room again; the four were still there. No rush. They couldn't leave. He nodded. “Okay, let’s have a drink first.”

“What happened? Why the urgent call?” the dealer asked.

“Cassy, our superiors ordered us to leave immediately,” Song Benlang said, rising as the man entered.

Cassy frowned. “Why? That guy just won 500 million USD, letting him go is too easy. We haven’t even identified him. I was going to do that now.”

Song Benlang shook his head. “No need to investigate. He’s beyond our capabilities. Based on intel and his casino performance, our superiors identified him as the person who stole our gold and scientists from Black Star Island.”

“Impossible!” Cassy exclaimed.

Sophia said slowly, “It’s not impossible. We’re certain it’s him. Shen Qianqian’s face may be ruined, but her body is still desirable. If she bought that face-preserving pill at the auction, her face should be recovered. Yet, that man didn't harm her; he tried to flirt with me! He gave me a dangerous feeling. He suspects me. He even tried to hug me, but thankfully, he didn't.”

“Did you lose it?!” Cassy panicked. 500 million wasn't significant; losing the Five Element Rock was catastrophic.

Sophia shook her head. “No, it’s safe. But he’s dangerous. We reviewed the recordings; that man wasn't on board when everyone else arrived, yet he appeared in the auction room. Just like our gold vault. The cases are similar. And how did the dice become all sixes? He didn’t touch them, yet he won with a tiger. He’s too dangerous.”

“Sophia’s right. Although we don’t know how he did it, his capabilities are beyond us. Luckily, we didn’t lose the Five Element Rock. The higher-ups ordered our immediate departure. Someone else will handle him,” Song Benlang said.

The black man added, “I suspect he saw me spying on him. He incinerated Yan Wuliang with a fireball. He’s terrifying.”

Ye Mo continued to monitor them with his spirit sense. As long as they stayed within 1 kilometer, they couldn’t escape. He’d especially marked the woman, allowing him to sense her from up to 10 kilometers away.

Shen Qianqian poured Ye Mo a drink, but she drank three before setting down her cup. “Before meeting you, I was lost, unsure of my future. The Shen family sent me here to show they still existed.”

She laughed at herself, drinking another cup. “If I told you I brought no money to the auction, you wouldn’t believe it. That 180 million was my private savings. The Shen family sent me without a bodyguard and froze my Chinese accounts.”

The Shen family no longer needed her.

Shen Qianqian sneered. “Brother Ye, when Aunt Qingkui asked you to cure her, she used her own money. Even then, the Shen family froze her card. Shen Yin asked them to unfreeze it, but they refused. Aunt Qingkui saw through them and didn’t return.”

Ye Mo was speechless. He hadn’t known her card was frozen. No wonder Shen Yin felt guilty. He didn’t mind, considering she helped him find the auction.

“I enjoy business. I only feel valuable when I earn money. Grandpa saw my drive, letting me manage the Shen family. I controlled 60%, yet they froze my card! Luckily, I had savings.”

Shen Qianqian drank again, her eyes dull. “I was a money-making machine, discarded when useless. Brother Ye, I’m lucky to have met you!”

Ye Mo thought, Doesn’t Luo Yue need a businesswoman? Shen Qianqian was a prodigy. The Shen family was blind, but he could invite her to Luo Yue.

He was about to speak when a voice announced, “Dear passengers, we’ve arrived at Qizhou Island.”

Ye Mo was shocked; it was already day. He scanned the room; the four were gone.

The ship hadn’t even docked. How did they leave? Ye Mo sprang up, sending out his spirit sense, while Shen Qianqian lay on the table.
