Chapter 637: What About a Third One?

“Yeah, how’s Luo Ying? Is she there?” Ye Mo asked.

Su Jingwen laughed. “Don’t worry, she’s fine. But be honest, have you told Luo Ying about Qingxue? Ye Mo, I admire how you found both Luo Ying and Qingxue. Both are very hard to find.”

Ye Mo coughed. If he hadn’t checked on Luo Ying yet, he would have pretended not to hear and hung up. Since Su Jingwen asked, he said, “You’re pretty too, don’t just talk about them.”

“…” Su Jingwen fell silent. After a while, she asked, “Ye Mo, do you mean I’m the same as them?”

“Uhm—” Ye Mo understood. He didn’t know how to explain, but Su Jingwen spoke again. “Luo Ying was worried, so she came to Jin City. Beiwei’s phone is with her. She should be leaving Jin City Airport in about half an hour.”

“Really? Okay, I’ll pick her up.” Ye Mo was relieved he’d called.

Feeling he was neglecting Su Jingwen, he quickly asked, “Jingwen, how are things in Ning Hai? I’ll be back soon. Want to come to Luo Yue with me?”

“I’m not anyone to you. Why would I go to Luo Yue?” Su Jingwen’s tone was sharp.

“Uhm—” Ye Mo wanted to hang up and see Luo Ying, but he didn’t want Su Jingwen to feel bad.

Su Jingwen laughed. “Go see your wife. With her being so pretty, there must be lots of admirers. But Ye Mo, you’re married to two people—”

Ye Mo breathed a sigh of relief. “Luckily, I’m in Luo Yue. We haven’t announced marital laws yet. It should be fine to marry two wives. I’ll make the marital law before our wedding, hehe.”

“Then what about three?” Su Jingwen asked.

“…” Ye Mo was dazed. The call ended.

Ye Mo shook his head. He liked Su Jingwen, but that didn’t mean he had to marry her. He had Luo Ying and Qingxue, and he was content. If Ning Qingxue hadn’t appeared, he would have only married Luo Ying.

He’d only accepted Ning Qingxue after she risked her life for him, when he didn’t know if Luo Ying was even alive. Otherwise, things might have been different.

As Luo Ying prepared to board, a figure dashed past. Though his face was only glimpsed, she was sure it was Ye Mo. The figure quickly passed security and entered the tunnel to a Beijing flight.

“Ye Mo!” Luo Ying called.

The figure hesitated, looked around, and left quickly.

Luo Ying called again, but the person couldn’t hear her. She chased, but airport staff stopped her.

“I’m sorry, I saw someone familiar,” Luo Ying explained. She felt the face looked like Ye Mo’s, but something was strange. She didn’t feel that intimacy.

“Sorry, that’s the Beijing gate. You can’t pass.”

Luo Ying pleaded, “Just to ask something, two minutes.”

The staff shook their heads. One said, “You need a Beijing ticket. The next flight is in twenty minutes.”

Luo Ying just wanted to see if it was Ye Mo.

She rushed to the ticket counter.

“Sorry, Beijing tickets are sold out. The plane’s about to leave. The next flight is tomorrow at noon,” the staff said.

Luo Ying turned, disappointed. If Ye Mo was going to Beijing, why was she going to Jin City?

A middle-aged woman ran up with a ticket. “Sorry, I can’t go to Beijing. I want a refund.”

“Perfect! Someone wants a Beijing ticket. You can give it to her.” The staff helped them exchange the ticket.

Minutes later, Luo Ying had a Beijing ticket. She was incredibly lucky.

She hurried onto the plane to find the man. If it wasn’t Ye Mo, she’d get off.

She saw him entering the restroom.

Her tension fading, she felt something was wrong. People weren’t allowed in the restroom before takeoff, and the ticket refund was too coincidental. And Ye Mo always contacted her when in Ning Hai. Even if he couldn’t see her, he’d call.

Luo Ying wanted to get off. She wasn’t stupid, she just missed Ye Mo too much.

“Please fasten your seatbelt. The plane is about to take off,” a flight attendant said politely.

Luo Ying wanted to say something, but the plane rumbled. It was too late—they were taking off.

Luo Ying knew it was a trap. That person wasn’t Ye Mo. The intimacy she felt from Ye Mo couldn’t be faked.

Why were they doing this?

Besides her beauty, only Ye Mo could be the reason. They’d likely sent someone who looked like him to get her attention.

She calmed down. They probably wanted to capture her to threaten Ye Mo. She wouldn’t let them win.

But what about Beiwei? She was safe with Ye Mo’s gun, but what about Beiwei?

She tried to call Beiwei, but there was no signal.

In Ning Hai, in their small house, Su Jingwen fiddled with flowers. Tang Beiwei knew she felt bad, but didn’t know how to comfort her.

“Beiwei, you said your brother hasn’t been with Luo Ying as long as I’ve been with him, right? Am I too dumb or too ugly?” Su Jingwen asked.

Tang Beiwei stared, speechless.
