Chapter 64

"Woah!" Olive muttered, incredulous.

"So, technically, Raven likes Pamela, but Pamela is interested in Elvis Augustine, and Elvis and Raven are good friends who grew up together," North added.

"Wow, I didn't expect Pamela to be so tactical," Olive said, still processing the information.

North grabbed a nude silk nightdress and handed it to Olive. "Don't ruin our mood. President Augustine will definitely love this nightdress. Come try it on."

Raven and Pamela stood some distance away, discussing. With a beautiful smile, Pamela said, "Raven, I just returned to LA. Why don't you invite President Augustine to hang out with us?"

Raven's eyes were focused on the boutique. He replied indifferently, "I can help you send him an invitation, but his coming depends solely on him."

"It's fine, Raven. Thank you."

Raven said nothing more. Pamela followed Raven's gaze to the boutique; he was staring at North.

After North pushed Olive into the dressing room, she picked up the fashion magazine lying on the couch and read it. North's beautiful face and figure were strikingly evident. Her impressive breasts and buttocks made her even more alluring. With her beautiful face and gorgeous figure, North had quickly become popular in the entertainment industry. Pamela focused her gaze on North's simple gray suit and skirt. The gray was striking. The hem of the suit was pleated, adding elegance. North wore a pair of black lace-up boots. Pamela could only admire North's impeccable fashion sense. For the past two years, she had modeled for luxury brands, always receiving the newest designs. North was living the life every girl dreamed of.

Pamela looked back at Raven; his gaze was still fixed on North. Pamela knew he was looking at North's legs. North's legs were bare and visible. Although the pleated skirt covered her knees, her slender legs were noticeable. Even as a woman, Pamela couldn't help but stare. To distract Raven, she hastily said, "Raven, why don't you go to your meeting. I'll go shopping with Gwen."

Raven stared at North one last time, as if taking a long drink. He withdrew his gaze and muttered, "I'll go ahead."

He quickly walked away, followed by the company executives.

"Pamela, what were you discussing with Raven?" Gwen asked the moment Raven was out of sight. Gwen and Pamela had a close relationship, but this didn't stop Gwen's jealousy. She knew Raven liked Pamela.

Pamela held Gwen's right hand and replied, "Gwen, I've told you, Raven and I are just friends. If anything were to happen between us, it would have happened long ago. The person I like is Elvis Augustine."

"Elvis is my dream man. I asked Raven to help invite Elvis. That'll give me a chance to be with him," Pamela added.

Hearing this, Gwen relaxed. She grinned and said, "Pamela, you really are the best."

Pamela sighed sadly. "The Heaven family was originally to be married into the Domino family. You were to marry Raven, but then North showed up."

Gwen was instantly furious. She glared at North, who was still reading the magazine. Jealous, she said, "Sooner or later, I'll make her disappear."

Pamela smirked with satisfaction. She was a smart woman; smart women didn't get their hands dirty; others did it for them.

Olive tried on the nude nightdress. North thought it was perfect. Olive handed the nightdress to the sales associate.

Gwen approached them and taunted Olive angrily. "Olive, do you know how much that nightdress costs? That's five thousand dollars. You're broke, where are you going to get the money? Too bad you married an incompetent man."

Very few people knew Elvis owned the Red Villa. Raven and Harry hadn't told anyone, not even Gwen, Harry's sister.

Pamela intervened, "Olive, your husband at the Red Villa can't afford this nightdress, can he? But don't worry, if you really like it, I'll pay for you."

Pamela was getting her card from her handbag when Olive said, "Wait a minute."

"Olive, no need to feel ashamed," Pamela said.

"Huh? No, no, I mean I haven't finished shopping yet." Olive picked more clothes and handed them to the sales associate. "I want all of them. This bag is pretty, and these shoes aren't bad. Pack them all for me."

Olive selected numerous clothes, shoes, and bags. Gwen, the adored princess of the Heaven family, spent lavishly, but she was stunned; she'd never bought so many items in one outing. She couldn't help but ask, "Olive, are you crazy?"

Olive ignored Gwen. She faced Pamela and smiled calmly. "Are you still going to pay for me?"

The total cost of Olive's purchases was tens of thousands of dollars. Pamela wasn't foolish enough to let Olive take advantage of her. She looked at Olive worriedly. "Olive, you need to learn to be a good person. If you don't have the money, is it fair to make this sales associate carry all this? Isn't that immoral?"

"It's not just wicked, Olive, it's a crime. I'll call the police and have them take you away!" Gwen frantically searched her bag for her phone.

Olive raised an eyebrow and asked, "Save your breath, dear. Miss, can I pay with this card?" Olive handed a black and gold card to the cashier.

Pamela and Gwen's eyebrows shot up; their expressions changed drastically.
