Chapter 63

Raven sighed and muttered, "Elvis, I'm going to hang up." All she wanted to do was hang up. Elvis said faintly, "The human who strengthened you is back. Your adopted sister, North, is in town."

Raven remained silent.

"Take care of your sister, North," Elvis continued. "Don't let her argue with me about Olive again."

Raven quickly ended the call.

The next day, Olive and North went shopping. Olive wore a white knitted sweater with a fringed sash tied around her waist. The sweater fell to her knees, and she wore crystal high heels. North wore a gray suit. Both women wore hats, hoping to shop unrecognized. As they approached the fashion store, they saw Pamela and Gwen Heaven. Gwen, the youngest princess of the Heaven family and Harry's younger sister, was in the entertainment industry, though her acting was terrible; her beauty was her only asset. Pamela and Gwen were surrounded by a group of women.

"Pamela, are you dating Mr. Augustine?" one woman asked.

"How on earth did you get the youngest business executive to partner with you?" another asked curiously.

Pamela chatted with them, speaking softly but with a look of pride. Gwen spotted Olive and North first. She stared at them and muttered sarcastically, "Look who we have here. An adopted daughter and a bastard who just returned from nowhere."

Pamela, wearing a beautiful pink dress, quickly pulled Gwen aside, saying softly, "Gwen, we're all friends."

"Pamela, you're the one President Augustine likes now. How can you still be friends with them? A nobody like Olive probably doesn't even know who Mr. Augustine is. Should I tell her?"

Pamela smiled at Olive. "Olive, I haven't had the chance to tell you about my relationship with President Augustine. Come by later, I'll introduce you." Pamela watched Olive, hoping to see envy, but Olive simply pouted and said, "Pamela, if I hadn't left L.A., you would have had to compete with me for the top socialite position. It's best if I don't meet President Augustine. You know what I'm capable of."

Pamela stiffened. North chuckled. Gwen glared at North, whom she hated most. The Heaven and Domino families were friends, intended to marry, and Gwen had liked Raven since childhood.

North came from a wealthy family. Her parents died in a car explosion, and her brother disappeared in the accident. The Domino family adopted her. As a child, North was exceptionally beautiful, like a doll. Boys who played with Gwen showered North with gifts to win her favor. North retained that captivating aura, quickly becoming famous and cherished. Since North joined the Domino family, Raven had treated her like a baby sister.

Pamela calmed herself and said slowly to North, "North, when did you arrive? We thought you'd never come back. You're an adult now. I can't believe you ran away because of that one incident." Pamela skillfully used North's pain point. Seeing this, Gwen added, "North, aren't you shameless? On your eighteenth birthday, you ran into Raven's room and got into his bed."

The incident had been kept secret by the Domino family. Only family members and guests present that day knew.

Olive looked at North worriedly. North's expression didn't change. She arched her brow seductively and said, "Gwen, are you envious that I had sex with Raven? Why don't you relax and let me tell you about his size and sexual prowess."

Gwen clenched her fists.

"North, have you forgotten that Raven slapped you?" Pamela asked.

Suddenly, Pamela exclaimed, "Raven, you're here!"

They all turned to the door. Raven entered, wearing a sophisticated black suit. He was handsome, his gentle and elegant demeanor a result of his traditional upbringing. He looked at North, who stared back, tilting her head and saying sweetly, "Brother, you're here. I haven't seen you in two years. You've become much more handsome."

Raven stared at her beaming face and said indifferently, "I'm here for a meeting."

"Oh," North muttered, surprised. She realized the mall was owned by the Dominos.

Gwen started to say, "Rave", but Raven's gaze made her shiver and silenced her. He then turned back to North. "North, continue shopping. I'll have a meeting and take you home afterward."

North shrugged and nodded. "Okay, thank you, bro."

Pamela stepped forward and called elegantly, "Raven."

Raven turned to her, and they spoke for a while. Olive pulled North away, whispering, "What's going on?"

North, casually picking up a suspender dress, muttered, "Raven likes Pamela. On my eighteenth birthday, while we were in bed together, he kept murmuring Pamela's name."
