Chapter 80: Exposing Her to Elvis

“What?!”

“Onlylove was with Olive?!”

The socialites exclaimed. North and Olive instinctively turned and stared at each other.

“Olive, you showed me the necklace at the academy today. Now that everyone’s here, why not do us the honor of showing us the cherished Onlylove necklace?” Pamela chuckled.

Olive looked at Pamela, pursed her lips, and removed the necklace. “You guys wanna see? Here it is!” She tossed it in the air.

The socialites stared, awestruck, at the necklace’s intricate detail. It was breathtakingly beautiful. But why was such a stunning piece on Olive’s body?

Gwen was the first to speak. “Olive, how can you have an Onlylove necklace? Can you afford it? Is it fake?”

Olive met Gwen’s envious, hateful gaze with a light smile. “Gwen, you’re from a wealthy family. You’ve been surrounded by luxury since childhood. I’m truly disappointed.” Gwen stared at the necklace again. The Onlylove gold possessed a dazzling, captivating luster; its cost was immediately apparent.

“Olive, I heard a mysterious buyer purchased the last piece. How could it be yours?” one socialite asked.

Accusations flew. “Olive, you can’t afford this! Be honest, did you steal it?” “Hand over the Onlylove necklace, or we’ll call the police!”

The celebrities grew agitated, their eyes reddening. They stood, ready to snatch the necklace. In their minds, Olive didn’t deserve it.

Olive hadn’t expected such pettiness. North clapped her hands; the door swung open, and several bodyguards entered. Everyone stiffened.

“North, you brought bodyguards?”

North stared indifferently. “I’m a big star. You wouldn’t understand the pressures. There are always people trying to harm me.”

Pamela, who had been quietly observing, stood and half-shouted, “We’re all sisters! No need for fighting. Please, everyone, sit down. I guarantee Olive’s necklace is real, and she didn’t steal it. President Augustine gave it to her.”

Everyone gasped and looked at Olive.

Elvis Augustine?

Though wealthy, none of the socialites had met Elvis Augustine. The Augustine family was Los Angeles’ wealthiest, and Elvis was its most influential member.

Pamela, seeing their disbelief, smiled sweetly. “I’m not lying. I don’t know when Olive captured President Augustine’s heart, but he gave her the Onlylove necklace. I also saw her use his card at a fashion store.”

Gwen quickly agreed, “Yes, I was with Pamela. Olive used President Augustine’s card.”

Silence fell. Resentment filled the room. Rumors had circulated about Elvis Augustine and Pamela being romantically involved, especially after his investment in Hart Medical. They were jealous, but Pamela was the top socialite, so they endured. Olive, however, was another matter.

“Olive, you’re married, right?” someone asked.

“You’re married to that…man at the Red Villa, and you’re involved with Elvis? How shameless!”

Olive remained impassive. “Why not ask your CEO Augustine why he left you all and came to me?”

“You’re crazy, Olive!” one woman exclaimed.

“Just wait, we’ll expose you to President Augustine!”

The women stormed out. Then, Gwen’s excited voice rang out, “Look! That’s Elvis Augustine! Elvis Augustine is here!”
