Listen to this chapter:

Natalia's POV

I was shocked when Adrian received the call. It was a relief that he wouldn't separate my children from me.

However, I doubted him when he invited me to the birthday party. He wasn't a kind man who suddenly decided to be good. I was sure he had ulterior motives.

I sat on my bed for a long time, reflecting on the changes in my life over the past few months.

I was fine until I met Adrian again. His reappearance brought misfortune back into my life. He was the villain in my story.

Otherwise, how could he still control my life after everything he'd done?

"I can't even leave this mess now. He has my children."

I closed my eyes and collapsed onto the mattress, rubbing my forehead and staring at the ceiling. Max had left an hour ago, promising to keep my brother in his thoughts.

I realized I couldn't convince him yet. Or did he have ulterior motives? All I wanted was to get my brother back. I couldn't bear seeing him lying there as if he were dead.

Max said he'd talk to my father upon returning to the Crystal Blood Pack. My father would be back tomorrow. I'd called him; Eric wasn't doing well, which worried me even more.

The next day, I started my usual routine at the "Moon Lovers" coffee shop. Upon entering, I saw countless coffee cups scattered on the tables and floor.

I was stunned, then remembered Adrian's order—a huge one for us. I rushed to help Liana. She grinned.

"Good morning, dear."

"Morning, Liana. You seem happy."

"Of course! I've never had such a big order. We're delivering coffee to the pack company for the first time."

I smiled and went to the employees sealing the cups. We couldn't open the shop today; we had to prepare thousands of cups. I couldn't believe it was possible. Our shop was large, but not that large.

Liana received a call and went outside. She returned beaming.

"Natalia, good news!"

"What news, Liana?"

"We don't have to make coffee for everyone in the company."

I frowned. "Isn't that a loss? More employees mean more money, right?"

She shook her head. I was baffled by her joy.

"That's not it. The Alpha said we only have to deliver to his floor…" She paused, grinning widely, "…daily."

My eyes widened. "Daily?"

She nodded. "Yes! I can't believe it either. My life's about to change. But there's something else, Natalia."

Her sudden tension perplexed me. "What?"

She took my hand. "The Alpha said this order will continue only if you personally deliver the…"

The passage ends abruptly. The final sentence is incomplete.
