Chapter 1420

Frieda shuddered. Unlike Aubree, who wielded considerable influence within the Pearson family and for whom tens of millions were insignificant, Frieda held no authority in the Queen family. Her spending money was merely an allowance from the elders. Given her extravagant habits, she possessed only a few million. Giving Aubree five million would leave her with little.

"I don't have that much money, Aubree. You know my situation," Frieda pleaded cautiously.

Aubree scowled. "Then how much do you have?"

Frieda hesitated. "Two million. No more." She couldn't afford to give more; she'd recently rejoined Queen Group and couldn't access company funds without raising Jonathan's suspicions.

Aubree's breathing hitched. "Give me two million today. The rest later!"

Relief flooded Frieda. Maintaining a sincere tone, she replied, "I will. Don't worry, Aubree. As long as I'm in the Queen family, I won't let you suffer."

Satisfied, Aubree coldly snorted, providing the address before hanging up. The darkened screen reflected Frieda's venomous expression. What a bloodsucker! Worried Aubree might take drastic measures, Frieda immediately retrieved her bank card and hurried to the suburban mansion.

Upon entering, she was appalled by the house's condition. If Aubree hadn't been present, Frieda would have thought it uninhabitable. Aubree's anger on the phone made sense now.

"Have you eaten, Aubree? We can go out," Frieda offered, composing herself and approaching with a smile. Standing beside Aubree, she fixed her gaze on the woman.

Aubree finally acknowledged Frieda. "Put the money down and leave," she coldly instructed.

Glad to depart, Frieda placed the money on the coffee table and turned to leave, but Aubree stopped her. "Have you found a solution?"

It took Frieda a moment to recall Aubree's previous request: a solution to the Pearson family's predicament, orchestrated by the Farwell familyโ€”a task beyond Frieda's capabilities.

"Aubree, I really don't have a way..." Frieda said, exasperated.

"You useless piece of trash!" Aubree raged, rising from the couch. But a sharp voice from upstairs cut her off.

"How dare you come here!"

Gina, having just regained consciousness, glared furiously at Frieda. Samuel stood behind her, ashen-faced.

Frieda, momentarily startled, still offered a greeting, "Mr. and Mrs. Pearson..."

"Get out! We don't know you! Never appear in our house again!"

Gina stormed down the stairs, shoving Frieda. Seeing the elders' distress, Frieda tried to explain, "It was Jonathan's instructionโ€”"

Gina interrupted, screaming, "You're family! You're just as guilty! Get lost! I never want to see any Queens again!"
