The online backlash was swift and intense, but it subsided just as quickly. Within days, everyone’s attention shifted to other news. However, Aubree wasn't ready to let the matter rest. She was determined to make her saboteur pay.

She and Frieda spent an entire day at the bar reviewing surveillance footage, but failed to identify the culprit. They couldn't ascertain the person's identity.

Still irritated after returning home, Aubree immediately contacted Ophelia. "I may not be able to exact revenge on Roxanne right now because I don't know who that guy is, but I can still follow the original plan and teach Roxanne a lesson!"

Ophelia had been waiting at the hotel for several days to hear from Aubree. She'd also seen the online comments. Knowing Aubree's character, she assumed Aubree wouldn't let the person who leaked the photos get away with it. She'd been surprised by Aubree's silence, assuming she was busy investigating.

Just as Ophelia was preparing for bed, Aubree called. "What is it, Aubree? What can I do to help?" Ophelia asked, quickly answering her phone.

In a frigid tone, Aubree replied, "Go to Roxanne, as we originally planned. That bitch dared to plot against me, so I'll make her regret it!"

Ophelia was stunned. "Are you saying the backlash over the past two days was Roxanne's doing?"

"What's the matter? Don't you believe me? I've told you before, that bitch is capable of all sorts of dirty tricks. She's trying to get back at me!" Aubree hissed.

Ophelia admitted she didn't know much about Roxanne, other than that she'd allegedly ruined Aubree's luxurious lifestyle. "I never thought she'd resort to such despicable measures!"

As Aubree's best friend, Ophelia felt angry and readily agreed. "Calm down. Don't let your anger affect your health. I'll go look for her at once."

Aubree took two deep breaths. Anticipating Roxanne's impending troubles, she felt a little more at ease.

After the call ended, Ophelia immediately went to Roxanne's research institute, assuming she'd be working late. She searched for Roxanne's car but found nothing. Ophelia then tried Roxanne's house but was stopped at the residential area entrance, forcing her to return home.

As she was leaving, a Bentley slowly approached. Lucian recognized her as the children's recently resigned teacher. He wondered what she was doing there, as Benny's injury had almost completely healed. Suspicious, but wanting to avoid alerting her, he called Cayden to discreetly follow Ophelia.

Lucian then drove into the residential area and parked in front of Roxanne's house.

The three children sat in the living room, bored. Benny, as usual, answered the doorbell. His face lit up upon seeing Lucian. "Mr. Farwell!"

Archie and Estella's expressions changed instantly. They jumped up and rushed to the door, excitement evident on their faces.
