Chapter 1594: Invite Archie and Benny

Several days after leaving the Farwell residence, Sonya hadn't heard from her son or granddaughter. Her unease grew, prompting a weekend visit to the manor. Roxanne was working late at the research institute, searching for a new medicinal herb supplier, as was Lucian. Only Catalina remained, caring for Estella, Benny, and Archie.

"Mrs. Farwell," Catalina greeted respectfully, glancing worriedly at the children. She knew Sonya disliked Archie and Benny. Catalina's unspoken concern hung in the air: with Mr. Farwell and Ms. Jarvis separated, she wondered what Sonya would do.

Sonya's cold gaze swept over Catalina, settling on Estella. Ignoring Archie and Benny, she offered, "Do you miss me, Essie? Come, give me a hug."

Estella remained motionless. Sonya's expression fell. "I'll take you out for delicious food. Do you want something yummy?"

Estella clung to Archie's sleeve, hesitant to approach. Sonya's irritation flared at Estella's dependence on the boys, but fearing a negative reaction, she suppressed her impatience. "I'll buy you lots of tasty food and toys. Remember that ice cream shop you liked?" She forced a smile.

Estella's eyes lit up at the mention of ice cream, glancing at Archie and Benny. Sonya seethed at Estella's apparent need for their permission. Maintaining control, she produced two amusement park tickets. "I bought tickets to the amusement park. Haven't you always wanted to go?"

Estella hesitated, finally shaking her head. "No, Daddy and Mommy will take us."

Sonya's frustration mounted. "They're both busy. We don't know when they'll be free. I can take you now—it's the best time to visit. You'll have to wait until next year if you miss this."

Estella seemed to waver. Archie and Benny chimed in, "You can go if you want. Daddy arranged classes for us at home."

Estella shook her head, pouting. "I want to go with both of you..." She was still apprehensive about Sonya and didn't want to leave Archie and Benny.

Sonya frowned, pocketing the tickets. "I'll give them to other children if you don't want to go," she said regretfully, turning to leave.

"Grandma!" Estella cried out.

Sonya stopped. "I want to go..." Estella's voice trembled. "But can I also invite Archie and Benny?"

Sonya glared, tempted to refuse, but Estella's tearful eyes softened her resolve. "They can come," she conceded, "if you don't cry."
