Despite his busy work schedule, Lucian visited Roxanne daily. His mind constantly replayed Roxanne's harsh questioning of Larry. After their argument, Roxanne even suggested he bring Estella back. Therefore, Lucian only dared to observe them from afar. Estella was becoming more lively each day, which Lucian attributed to her affection for Roxanne. He didn't know she had started talking.
