Chapter 1788: Baby Dolphins

The children were filled with enthusiasm as the dolphin show began, even though they'd seen it before. The keeper and the dolphins shared a wonderful bond, evident in their effortless interactions and performances. The audience whooped and cheered.

The dolphins were captivatingly adorable, creating gentle splashes with their fins and drenching the front row. The children waved, and the dolphins responded, swimming closer. Estella giggled, delighted when she touched a dolphin. "Daddy, Mommy, its head is really soft!" she exclaimed.

The little dolphin made a joyful sound, a greeting for Estella, who immediately began communicating with it. "Little dolphin, come here. They are my brothers. You should get to know them, too!" Archie and Benny hesitantly approached, reaching out to touch the small creature. Its parents remained unconcerned some distance away.

"It's wonderful to see the dolphin's affection for the children," the keeper said encouragingly. "This connection between humans and animals reminds us that sea creatures are part of our world, and we must protect and care for them."

A child behind the triplets eagerly inched closer. "Daddy, I'd like to touch the baby dolphin, too!"

An overweight middle-aged man glared at Lucian and Roxanne before curtly addressing them. "Can you ask your children to step aside? Other children want to touch the dolphin."

Lucian's brows furrowed as he gave the man an icy stare, surprising him. Roxanne replied, "I'm sorry, but we chose these seats. Perhaps you avoided the front row to avoid getting splashed? If you want to interact now, the dolphin may be less receptive."

The overweight man froze, but remained defiant, shooting Roxanne a vicious glare. Lucian noted the reaction, silently vowing to make him regret his behavior if he persisted.

As the performance neared its end, and the baby dolphin showed reluctance to leave the children, the keeper had an idea. "The baby dolphin will perform next. Would you like to join it?"

"Okay! I'll do it!" Estella readily agreed. Archie and Benny, after receiving their parents' assent, nodded at the keeper.

"Let's welcome the three children onstage to perform with our baby dolphin! A round of applause, please!"

Thunderous applause filled the hall. The triplets' undeniable charm captivated the audience.

Suddenly, the overweight man's voice cut through the air. "Since this is a game, my son should participate too. You won't discriminate, right?" His remark subtly acknowledged his son's lack of the triplets' charm.

Apprehension crossed the keeper's face. The overweight man's older son might frighten the baby dolphin.

The overweight child shouted, "I can work with the baby dolphin! I promise I won't hurt it!" He then strode to the pool.

The keeper conceded. "Yes, you can join, but follow my instructions. Can you do that?"

The boy patted his chest, contempt evident. "It's just a baby dolphin," he said dismissively. He glanced at his father, who stood proudly, arrogantly shooting a mocking look at Lucian and Roxanne.
