Chapter 1805: Not This Report

โ€œMr. Farwell, I oversaw the entire testing process. We did not use the wrong samples. Furthermore, I arrived here immediately upon receiving the results,โ€ Clinton stated, nearly collapsing under Lucianโ€™s intense gaze. The lure of ten million dollars, however, steeled his resolve, enabling him to continue without revealing the truth.

โ€œTheyโ€™re not related, are they?โ€ Sonya asked indifferently, her gaze fixed on Roxanne.

Roxanneโ€™s silence didnโ€™t deter her. She needed to seize the opportunity. Clinton nodded firmly to Sonya.

โ€œLucian, the results are in. Itโ€™s not that I donโ€™t want to acknowledge the children; in fact, I would love to be their grandmother. Donโ€™t you agree?โ€ she asked.

Sonya, noticing her sonโ€™s anger, saw a chance to escalate the situation, hoping to provoke Lucian against Roxanne. But Lucian frowned at his mother. โ€œMom, do you think this is the real result?โ€

โ€œHow could it be fake? If paternity tests are unreliable, anyone could claim to have birthed the Farwell familyโ€™s grandchildren,โ€ Sonya declared, her voice rising, her words heavily implying something more. Lucianโ€™s respect for his mother instantly plummeted.

โ€œRoxanne, you know how to lie, donโ€™t you? Which bastard do these boys belong to? How dare you make them impersonate Farwell descendants? I know how much Lucian loves you, but donโ€™t you feel any guilt?โ€ Sonya pressed. This was precisely the outcome she'd anticipatedโ€”humiliating Roxanne and turning Lucian against her.

Roxanne, stunned by her mother-in-lawโ€™s actions, was deeply disappointed. She looked at Lucian, whose eyes reflected a profound, indescribable disappointment.

โ€œMrs. Farwell, are you so desperate to expel me from the Farwell family? Would you still do this if Archie and Benny were actually your grandsons?โ€

Roxanneโ€™s response surprised Sonya. Instead of panic, Roxanne displayed unwavering resolve.

โ€œWhat are you saying? Expel you? You lied to the entire Farwell family! Moreover, the results are clear. The boys are not my grandsons, making your accusations invalid.โ€

A wave of anxiety washed over Sonya. Lucian and Roxanne's reactions were unexpectedly strange. She had no choice but to continue, โ€œTell me. Did you drug Lucian? Is that why he listens to you?โ€

Roxanne was speechless. Sonyaโ€™s accusations were beyond anything she could have imagined.

Suddenly, Lucian stood, shouting, โ€œEnough!โ€ His voice terrified both Sonya and Clinton, the latterโ€™s legs trembling.

โ€œClinton, one more lie, and Iโ€™ll send you to jail. This is an occupational crime!โ€ Lucian glared at Clinton implacably.

Terror paralyzed Clinton. โ€œMr. Farwellโ€ฆ Iโ€”I was wrong! Thisโ€ฆ this isnโ€™t the real report.โ€

Sonyaโ€™s expression froze at Clintonโ€™s confession, her eyes widening, lips twitching in frustration.
