Chapter 2043: Naming the Twins

That evening, joy and laughter filled the Farwell residence. Elias and Sonya were overjoyed, almost to tears, at the news of Lucian and Roxanne expecting twins. Having previously cared for Estella, they hadn't experienced much familial joy; now, they eagerly anticipated their roles as grandparents. They hoped caring for the twins would be easier than the "hard mode" of raising Estella.

The three older children, ecstatic about a new brother and sister, clapped and cheered, showering their parents with enthusiastic compliments—perhaps a bit too enthusiastic regarding their "copulatory ability," much to Lucian and Roxanne's embarrassment.

The most suspenseful part of the evening arrived: naming the twins. Lucian had cleverly prepped the children, asking each to suggest two names (one boy's, one girl's), thus increasing the likelihood of a winning suggestion.

"All right," Lucian announced. "The Farwell family naming competition begins! First, Archie Farwell! Let's hear those beautiful names!"

Amidst applause, Archie presented his choices: Seward Farwell and Dawn Farwell. He received enthusiastic approval.

Next, Benny, the "tech-savvy" one, offered Xacobe Farwell and Noreen Farwell, also met with praise for their simple yet meaningful sound.

Meanwhile, Estella whispered, "I thought we were supposed to choose traditional names! I didn't expect such expressive choices from my brothers!" Without waiting for her turn, she presented her selections: Seward and Noreen.

A stunned silence fell. Before Benny could accuse Estella of plagiarism, Archie swiftly covered his brother's mouth and pulled him aside. Elias and Sonya exchanged knowing glances.

Roxanne quickly intervened. "There's no rule against similar suggestions, Essie. It's perfectly fine to share similar opinions."

Estella graciously accepted the situation. "Fine, Mommy. I think my names are a bit hard to pronounce, so I'm out. But Archie and Benny's choices are great! I'll try harder next time." Roxanne inwardly shuddered; there couldn't be a next time!

The voting was unanimous: Seward Farwell and Noreen Farwell. The boy would be Seward, the girl Noreen.

"Seward and Noreen! Their names are so pretty," Estella declared, despite not having chosen them. Archie and Benny were also pleased with the ceremonious naming of their siblings.

"Archie, Benny, Estella, Seward, and Noreen," Roxanne recited, "It's quite catchy!"
