Chapter 663: New Clothes for Estella

"Frieda, do you know them?" Hasso asked. Frieda, returning to her senses, glanced at him, her eyebrows furrowed. The disdain in her eyes quickly faded.

"There's bad blood between me and that woman," she said.

"What did she do to you?" Hasso asked, confused. Frieda pursed her lips, anger flickering across her face. "She stole my friend's man. I can't stand her."

Hasso, stunned by his goddess's anger, stood up, ready to retaliate. "I'll teach that woman a lesson!"

Frieda rolled her eyes, quickly regaining her composure. She gently kicked his leg under the table. "Sit down! Don't be rash. It'll be embarrassing if you make a scene!"

He mistook her light kick for flirtation. Obediently reseating himself, he asked, "What do you plan to do, then? I'll do whatever you ask!"

Frieda smiled. "Let's follow them and see what they're up to."

Hasso readily agreed. Roxanne and the others were oblivious to the duo's pursuit.

After lunch, with time before the concert, Roxanne wanted to entertain the children. To her surprise, Lucian suggested the mall.

"Is there anything you need to buy?" Roxanne asked hesitantly. She felt mall shopping was a family activity, worrying about misunderstandings, especially with three children.

Lucian glanced at Estella. "It's been a while since I've bought Essie new clothes. I don't know what girls like, and since we have time, I hope you'll help, Ms. Jarvis."

Estella eagerly nodded, her gaze fixed on Roxanne. Her grandmother usually chose her clothes; she longed for Roxanne's selection.

Roxanne's heart softened at the girl's hopeful expression. She agreed.

They left the restaurant and headed to the mall. Meanwhile, Frieda, having barely eaten, stood to follow them.

"Frieda, there's so much food left!" Hasso protested, gesturing to the untouched meal.

Annoyance flashed in Frieda's eyes. She turned, snapping, "They're gone! If you want to eat, we can come back later!"

Hasso, though pained by the wasted food, followed his goddess. From a distance, they watched Roxanne enter a children's clothing store. Frieda halted, pulling Hasso to a nearby women's section, aware they'd be too conspicuous.

"Hello, Miss. What kind of clothes do you like?" a sales associate approached.

Focused on Roxanne, Frieda quickly selected several expensive items, specified her size, and had them bagged.

Hasso winced at her extravagance. Yet, captivated by her beauty and driven by ambition, he endured the expense, silently paying for her purchases.
