Chapter 737: Open Admiration

Roxanne was touched by Harvey's words. "I understand. Thank you, Professor."

Unable to bear seeing her slandered online, Harvey softened his tone after a brief lecture. "Give it your all now that everyone knows you're my student. Don't let me down."

Roxanne grinned. "I'll do my best."

"I believe in you," Harvey encouraged. "And that Damaris boy… he's not bad, you know—"

Roxanne quickly interrupted, knowing where he was going. "Professor! I need to make breakfast for Archie and Benny. I'll talk to you later."

Harvey paused at the mention of the boys. "All right. Say hi to them for me."

"Okay," Roxanne replied, pausing. "Please thank everyone for me."

Harvey readily agreed. They hung up.

A knock came immediately. Roxanne glanced at the clock and hurried out of bed. Archie and Benny stood on the doorstep.

"Mommy, are you feeling okay?" they asked, their eyes fixed on her.

They usually ate breakfast by now, but had waited longer than usual, realizing there was no food and their mother hadn't left her room. Worried she was ill, they'd come to check on her.

"Sorry for the wait," Roxanne apologized, stroking their heads. "I was on a call with Professor Lambert. Why don't you warm up some milk?"

Relieved she was well, the boys went downstairs. Roxanne washed up. By the time she was ready, they'd prepared breakfast, including her portion.

Sitting at the table, Roxanne remembered something. With the online comments improving, she wouldn't need to bother Lucian to pick up the boys.

But the doorbell rang just as she reached for Lucian's number. Before she could answer, Archie and Benny, recognizing their visitor, excitedly ran ahead and opened the gates, ignoring the security cameras.

"Good morning, Mr. Farwell!" they chirped.

Lucian nodded. Estella greeted them before rushing inside and throwing herself into Roxanne's arms.

"Ms. Jarvis!" she exclaimed, clinging to Roxanne.

Roxanne smiled, stroking the girl's hair. "You're early today, Essie."

Estella looked up, her eyes shining. "Because I couldn't wait to see you, Ms. Jarvis!"

Roxanne's heart melted. For a moment, she was speechless. Lucian entered then, raising an eyebrow at the breakfast on the table.

Before he could comment, Archie and Benny presented him with two glasses of milk. "We warmed them ourselves!"
