Listen to this chapter:

The men of the Great Four chimed in. Meanwhile, Rowena was stupefied. She could do nothing. She only hoped that not too many people would die. She prayed James wouldn't harm the uninvolved. Under their gaze, James slowly removed his ghost mask.

Henry followed suit. James's true identity was unveiled.

"J-James Caden?"

"James, the son-in-law of the Callahans?"

"No wonder. Since Thea Callahan saved his life, it's not surprising he became their son-in-law."

"Haha, I thought he'd be some big shot. He's just the son-in-law of the Callahans, the renowned trash of Cansington." Glimpsing James's true identity, they were stunned, then burst into laughter.

Dawson glanced around. His men understood; they stepped forward and pressed guns against James's and Henry's heads. James remained composed.

"Haha," one of the men chuckled. "James, how did you think you'd settle the feud?"

"I'll let you reunite with your deceased family," James replied. The leaders of the Great Four howled with laughter.

They had been worried sick for days. The ghost-masked man had killed Trent Xavier, leading them to believe he possessed extraordinary powers. They hadn't expected him to be the son-in-law of a second-rate family.

Though a gun was pressed to his head, James remained undaunted. He scanned his surroundings with a surly expression. "Ten years ago, you gathered at the Caden residence. You bound my family and forced my grandfather to hand over the Moonlit Flowers on Cliffside's Edge. After obtaining them, you burned everything down. Thirty-eight members of the Cadens were burned alive."

James glared at them. All who met his gaze trembled. It was a menacing glare; they felt targeted by a ferocious beast. Shivers ran down their spines; they recoiled. Even Dawson and Nine Fingers were intimidated. Remembering their superior numbers and the guns at James's head, they recomposed themselves.

"Yes? What of it?"

The Great Four glared at James. He said coldly, "I'm a reasonable man. Kneel before me, confess your wrongdoings, and end your own lives. I promise not to harm anyone uninvolved."

"Hahaha…" The Great Four found his words laughable, as did the surrounding henchmen.

"James, look around you. Do you still not understand your situation? You have a gun to your head. One order from me, and bang! We'll blow your brains out." Dawson mimicked firing a gun, then laughed. James walked toward Newton, who was being trampled.

"Stop!" Dawson shouted.

Newton weakly muttered, "J-James, stay away."

James looked at him and promised, "Don't worry, Mr. Quinn. Everything will be alright. The culprits who destroyed the Cadens will not escape. An eye for an eye."

"Leave, James. Get out of Cansington and never return. You don't understand how powerful your enemy is. You'll never find out who the true mastermind is."

James frowned. Newton seemed to have inside information. Before reaching the Cadens' cemetery, James had ordered the Blithe King to mobilize. At that moment, the sound of a propeller echoed. Everyone looked up, flabbergasted, to see combat aircraft approaching.

"What's going on?"

"I-Is that a combat aircraft?"

Silence fell.

"T-this is bad. The military's here, and hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles are coming."
