In just a few words, James resolved Thea's family conflict.

That night, Thea lay in bed, watching James sleep on the floor. Her heart pounded as she recalled the day's events.

"James, is it cold on the floor?"

"Huh? Oh, it's alright," James replied instinctively, his mind still on the "Moonlit Flowers on Cliffside's Edge" and "Black Rose."

"Then you can continue sleeping on the floor."

Thea turned away angrily. She'd intended to invite him into bed, but James was oblivious.

"Thea, I'm really cold."

James feigned shivering. Thea threw him a blanket. He'd missed an opportunity due to inattention, but he was content. The night passed quietly.

The next morning, Thea's family left to buy a new car with Thea's two million. James stayed home to clean. After they left, he abandoned the broom and went to Common Clinic. Henry had returned from the Southern Plains, a region bordering eighteen small, resource-rich countries. As deputy commander of the Black Dragon Army, Henry easily raised money. He announced the army's need for funds, and mine owners quickly delivered hundreds of millions, even billions, of dollars. He returned to Cansington immediately.

James arrived at Common Clinic on his electric motorcycle. Besides Henry, a woman with a striking figure and features, a key member of a border grave-robbing group, was present. This was Black Rose.

"James," Henry greeted.

"Commander…" Black Rose knelt.

"The Black Dragon doesn't exist in Cansington. Just call me James," James said.

"Understood, James!" she replied.

She stepped aside.

"Henry, got the money?" James asked.

"Of course! I mentioned the Black Dragon's need, and the businessmen delivered personally," Henry grinned.

"Good. Ensure we reciprocate their generosity," James nodded.

"Already done. What next, James?" James pondered purchasing a commercial city, but their identities made this difficult. He looked at Black Rose, causing her to tremble and kneel.

"What are you doing?" James frowned.

Black Rose, startled, remained silent.

"Commander, I accept your punishment."

"Who said you're punished? Speak up."

Black Rose stood, head bowed.

"Black Rose, what's your real name?" James asked.
