“Yeah, Mr. Sutton, Freya was acting all high and mighty just now, even saying she’d use her influence to get us all rounded up,” Cindy loved the drama, not minding the stirring of the pot.

Freya couldn’t help but give a cold laugh, seeing these people trying to act like they were the victims.

“I had no idea being the fiancée of the Sutton family could grant you such leverage. Freya, you stop at nothing,” Kieran was clueless about the happenings, his tone dripping with sarcasm toward Freya.

Seeing this, Luna stepped up, saying, “Mr. Sutton, do you know what happened? What gives you the right to talk about Freya like that!”

Eloise interrupted, “Ms. Jennings, it’s like this. Kieran and I’ve heard everything. As for what happened, everyone has a pretty good idea.”

“That’s right! Freya started bullying us first!” Mae was quick to sling mud at Freya.

Eager and ready to defend Freya, Luna got cut off by Kieran’s cold response, “Freya, being the Sutton family’s fiancée doesn’t give you the right to abuse your power. Apologize to them.”

“Kieran! Have you lost your mind? Freya is your fiancée, and you’re siding with these outsiders over her?” Luna was livid upon hearing Kieran’s words.

Freya looked at Kieran, realizing he would back Eloise up.

Seeing the situation, Eloise said, “Kieran, let it go. It’s not worth it.”

“Eloise, you can’t be this forgiving! Have you forgotten how Freya treated you before? She embarrassed you in front of everyone last night, and you cried for so long. Mae and I were the ones comforting you!” Cindy couldn’t wait to take credit in front of Kieran.

“I’ll rip your mouth off!” Luna lunged forward, but Eloise suddenly stepped before Cindy, and Luna’s slap landed squarely on Eloise’s cheek.

Instantly, Eloise’s cheek turned red.

Kieran frowned. “Jarrett.”

Jarrett stepped forward and slapped Luna.

Seeing Luna get smacked, Freya’s face changed instantly. She raised her hand and landed a slap, not on Jarrett, but on Kieran. The air grew heavy.

“Kieran!” Eloise paled.

Kieran’s face darkened even more. No one had ever dared to hit him, especially in such a setting!

“Luna, let’s go.” Freya pulled Luna away.

Jarrett looked displeased. “Mr. Sutton…”

“Freya has some nerve to hit Mr. Sutton! Freya and Luna are like loose cannons! They’re asking for trouble!” Cindy fanned the flames, but Kieran growled, “Get out!”

Startled by Kieran’s command, Cindy jumped. And seeing the situation turn sour, Mae quickly dragged Cindy away.

Eloise approached nervously. “Kieran, let me see if you got hurt.”

Before Eloise’s hand could reach Kieran, a torn flyer landed on Kieran’s leg.

Bending down, Kieran picked up the flyer. It was covered in pictures of Freya and loaded up with all sorts of nasty words.

When seeing the flyer, Eloise’s expression soured.

Kieran looked toward where the flyer had come from, spotting the bulletin board and the remains of what was once a whole flyer. At that, Kieran’s expression darkened further.

“Kieran… It must be a misunderstanding,” Eloise said nervously, attempting to clear the air.
