“Yeah, Freya, that was way out of line! We must get to the bottom of this in front of the principal. Exams are around the corner, and what if Jenny’s hand is seriously injured? Can you live with yourself then?”

The crowd was getting rowdy, and Freya quickly caught onto Eloise’s scheme. Eloise? She was trying to get Freya kicked out of Surhmit University before the exams. Such haste seemed a tad too desperate.

“Freya, I won’t let you off the hook! Come with me to the principal’s office! I’m calling the cops if you don’t explain yourself!” Jenny glared at Freya, her face a mixture of grief and anger, looking as if she wouldn’t let go until she had her way.

Freya sighed, “Fine, let’s all go to the principal’s office and see who’s lying!”

Many people had witnessed the event. Freya hadn’t laid a finger on Jenny. It was all Jenny’s fabrication!

“Jenny, let me help you there.” Eloise supported Jenny as they left the library, while the remaining student council members encircled Freya, ensuring she didn’t escape.

Soon, they were all standing at the principal’s office door. The principal had never seen such a crowd at his door and was momentarily stunned.

“What’s all this about?”

“Principal!” Jenny ran into the office and walked to the principal, showing him her wrist marked with a ring of bruises. Through tears, she said, “Principal, look what Freya did to me!”

Hearing Freya was involved, the principal turned his gaze toward her. “Freya, did you do this?”

There was a tone of accusation in his voice. When Freya was engaged to Kieran, the principal treated her with the utmost respect, but his attitude had changed completely.

Freya responded, “I didn’t lay a hand on her.”

“Nonsense! We all saw it! Freya attacked Jenny!”

“Yeah, Freya, don’t try to deny it!”

“There are cameras in the library, sir. You can check for yourself. Freya attacked Jenny first. We all saw it with our own eyes!” The crowd was eager to prove Freya was the aggressor.

The principal huffed out a breath, turned to Eloise, and asked, “Eloise, you’re the big cheese of the student council. Were you on-scene when this went down?”

“I was there,” Eloise spoke earnestly. “Ms. Dawson did have a physical altercation with Jenny. Everyone saw it. Principal, the exam is coming, and Jenny’s hand is injured. This will affect her performance and indirectly impact our school’s graduation rates. We hope you can resolve this issue fairly and give Jenny the justice she deserves.”
