Chapter 341

Dressed in a sleek black business skirt suit, Freya looked like the trendy outfit was made just for her. She had gone the extra mile with her appearance to ensure every detail was perfect. Her secretary said politely, โ€œMs. Susan, hereโ€™s the current development status of the Southern Suburb project.โ€

โ€œPlease leave it in my office.โ€ As Freya entered her office, she saw Alison, whom she had transferred from the Dawson Group. Alison was one of the few people who knew Freyaโ€™s real identity.

Once the door was closed, Alison began, โ€œMissโ€ฆโ€

โ€œIโ€™ve told you, while at W Group, youโ€™re to call me Ms. Susan.โ€

โ€œYes, Ms. Susan,โ€ Alison corrected herself. โ€œThe Southern Suburb development is going smoothly. Weโ€™re getting low bids from building material suppliers eager to work with us, and numerous partners are interested in advertising at our hot springs resort. Our project is overshadowing the Sutton Groupโ€™s efforts.โ€

Freya nodded. โ€œIโ€™m aware.โ€

The Sutton Groupโ€™s hot springs project hadnโ€™t started but was already crushed in its cradle.

Puzzled, Alison asked, โ€œSo, your visit today isnโ€™t about the Southern Suburb project?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m here to testโ€ฆour companyโ€™s PR capabilities.โ€

โ€œWhat?โ€ Alison was stunned. She wondered, โ€˜PR capabilities? What sudden need is there to launch a public relations strategy?โ€™ Meanwhile, at the Sutton Groupโ€™s office, Kieranโ€™s phone buzzed nonstop. The success of W Groupโ€™s hot springs resort meant the Sutton Groupโ€™s similar project was dead in the water, leading to a potential loss of billions.

Kieran, already frustrated, had little patience for the constant stream of messages until a notification from Silas caught his eye. Opening the chat, he was met with a flood of forwarded messages detailing how Freya had gotten into a physical altercation at the school library. The messages claimed she had seriously injured a student council member who now couldnโ€™t participate in the graduation exams.

Kieran frowned, opening each article to see vivid descriptions of the previous dayโ€™s events at the library. Freya was portrayed as aggressive, pressuring the principal and acting unreasonably. There was even a video from the library.

With a cold tone, Kieran called out, โ€œJarrett!โ€

Jarrett entered promptly. โ€œMr. Sutton, how can I assist you?โ€

โ€œWhatโ€™s this about?โ€ Kieran tossed his phone to Jarrett.

After reviewing the messages, Jarrett was equally stunned. โ€œMr. Sutton, the principal called me yesterday, mentioning a minor altercation between Ms. Dawson and Ms. Harwood. You were in a meeting, and I thought it was trivial, something you wouldnโ€™t want to be bothered with.โ€

โ€œSo, you decided not to tell me?โ€ Kieranโ€™s gaze turned icy.

Jarrett quickly responded, โ€œIโ€™ll get to the bottom of this now.โ€
