Chapter 355

When Eloise caught sight of the cheat sheet on the floor, her expression froze instantly. She thought it was lost forever, yet here it was, in Kieranโ€™s hands.

โ€œThe principal mentioned your grades have been slipping, so I decided to check your exams. The proctor found this note near you. This handwriting is unmistakably yours. Are you still going to deny it?โ€

Kieran laid out the glaring evidence right before her eyes.

โ€œKieranโ€ฆ just let me explainโ€ฆโ€

Eloise struggled to keep her emotions in check, but Kieran was done listening to her explanations. โ€œI think thereโ€™s nothing left to discuss between us.โ€

Handing the cheat sheet back to Eloise, Kieran turned and signaled for Jarrett to open the car door and leave.

โ€œMeran!โ€

No matter how much Eloise called after him, Kieran had no intention of getting out of the car to see her again.

โ€œMr. Sutton, donโ€™t you think youโ€™re being a bit harsh on Ms. Harwood?โ€

โ€œHave I not been patient enough with her? Look at what sheโ€™s done; how am I supposed to cover for her?โ€

The Eloise he knew would never stoop to cheating, especially not in such a crucial exam.

Hearing this, Jarrett ceased his attempts to persuade. Kieran massaged his temples, a tiredness etched in his features.

โ€œMr. Sutton, what about Ms. Dawson?โ€

Today, in front of all the students, Ms. Dawson was taken away, leading many to believe she had an unfair advantage. This was not good for Ms. Dawsonโ€™s reputation.

โ€œSheโ€™s not innocent.โ€

Kieran hadnโ€™t expected that Ronan and Preston, two men, had helped Freya cheat. He thought Freya, despite being ill, wanted to graduate fairly. It seemed he was mistaken. Such people did not exist in their circle.

Meanwhileโ€ฆ

As Freya approached the school gates, she saw Preston sitting in a limited-edition Maybach. When the black tinted window rolled down, Freya was met with Prestonโ€™s chiseled profile. Preston glanced at Freya, who immediately pretended not to see and shifted her gaze elsewhere. Her whole demeanor screamed: I donโ€™t know the person in the car; he has nothing to do with me.

โ€œHans.โ€ Prestonโ€™s voice was low inside the car.

Hans quickly understood Prestonโ€™s intent, opened the car door, and walked towards Freya. Freya intended to ignore him, but Hans blocked her path: โ€œMs. Dawson, the boss is waiting for you in the car.โ€

With more and more students gathering, Freya didnโ€™t want to draw attention at the entrance of Summit University. Especially since, during the exam, everyone already suspected she had taken a shortcut, leading the principal to arrange a separate exam room for her. Now, seeing her with Preston would only fuel rumors.

Though Freya wasnโ€™t particularly bothered by what others thought, she didnโ€™t want her achievements to be overshadowed by scandal.

โ€œCould you ask Mr. Tyler to park a little further away? Iโ€™ll walk over. It wonโ€™t delay your plans.โ€

Hans maintained his poker face, repeating firmly: โ€œMs. Dawson, please.โ€

Seeing Hansโ€™s emotionless face, Freya finally cracked a smile and followed him into the car.

Inside the car, Freya clenched her teeth as she opened the door. Seeing her ready to bite his head off, Preston said leisurely, โ€œMs. Dawson sure knows how to bite the hand that feeds her. Just a few days ago, you were calling me Mr. Tyler, and now you donโ€™t even recognize me.โ€

Mr. Tyler, I admit your car is top-notch and expensive, but could you please not park it right at the school entrance every time? Itโ€™s not a good look.
