Chapter 373

Meanwhile, inside Summit University.

“Ellie, are we really going to look for Freya’s exam paper? If we get caught, we’re all going to be expelled!”

The students who had been eager to give Freya a hard time during the day were now getting cold feet. They were all talk in front of Eloise, but none dared to actually mess with Freya. After all, the campus was buzzing with gossip about Freya’s special connection with Ronan. Plus, there had been several sightings of Preston picking up Freya in his car.

“Just do it, okay? If anything goes wrong, I’ll take the blame,” Eloise bravely took responsibility. She had Kieran’s protection, after all. Even if they were caught, expulsion was unlikely.

With that reassurance, everyone else relaxed a bit, and they all quickly slipped into the examiner’s office. At this hour, the office was deserted. The student council had a spare key to the office, so they quietly made their way inside. The desk was piled high with the day’s exam papers.

Eloise quickly found her own paper and was pondering how to add a few extra points when the others stumbled upon Freya’s paper. “Freya claims she didn’t cheat, but this is so obvious! Does she think we’re idiots?”

“Exactly! With such difficult questions on this year’s finals, none of us could fully answer them. How could she have filled out her entire paper if not by cheating?”

“Moreover, Freya had taken a leave of absence for several months. Her grades weren’t outstanding before, so how did she suddenly become so brilliant? There’s definitely something fishy going on.”

The group exchanged these thoughts amongst themselves, buzzing with indignation. Eloise leaned in to take a closer look at Freya’s paper. Freya’s paper was densely filled out, and although the handwriting was a bit sloppy, the content was understandable to these finance students.

“Freya must have gotten the answers in advance,” Eloise concluded, clenching the paper in her hand. This exam had been modified at the last minute by Kieran’s orders. Who else could have given Freya the answers?

Jealousy surged through Eloise, and almost on impulse, she ripped Freya’s paper to shreds.

“Ellie!”

The others were shocked. This was a final exam paper! Tearing it up was sure to cause trouble. What were they going to do now?

As Eloise came back to her senses, she realized the gravity of her mistake. She had just destroyed Freya’s exam paper. Regaining her composure, she said, “We can’t let anyone know about this! Quickly, find another blank paper and write Freya’s name and student ID on it!”

“O–okay!”

The group scrambled into action, soon finding a blank paper. Eloise hastily wrote Freya’s name and student ID on it, trying to salvage the situation as best as they could.
