Chapter 426

Mr. Hicks quickly handed his phone to Albert, saying, "Don Albert, Chairman Cameron is looking for you."

As Albert answered, Isaac immediately reprimanded him, "Don Albert, what's wrong? Who authorized you to cause trouble in my territory? Are you trying to defy me? Aren't you being a little too arrogant?!"

Albert replied earnestly, "Chairman Cameron, I'm not causing trouble. Marcus annoyed Mr. Wade, and your manager, Mr. Hicks, wanted to teach Mr. Wade a lesson! What do you think?"

Isaac blurted out, "Mr. Wade? Do you mean Mr. Charlie Wade?"

"Of course," Albert chuckled. "Who else?"

Isaac was stunned. A dog had bitten its owner! He quickly said, "Albert, put the phone on speaker."

Albert activated the speakerphone. They all heard Isaac's furious roar: "Mr. Hicks, you bastard! How could you offend Mr. Wade?! Are you tired of living?"

Mr. Hicks, trembling with fear, stammered, "Chairman Cameron, I didn't know this Mr. Wade…"

Isaac continued, "You've brought this on yourself. Don't expect any mercy."

He then addressed Albert, "Don Albert, what did Mr. Wade tell you to do?"

Albert replied swiftly, "Mr. Wade wants me to dismiss and expel him from Aurouss Hill immediately! He also said to beat him if I see him again!"

Isaac said, "Good. Don Albert, do me another favor."

Albert responded, "Yes, Chairman Cameron. Your orders?"

Isaac said coldly, "Beat Mr. Hicks until he's half-dead, then let him go."

"Certainly," Albert grinned, hanging up.

Mr. Hicks, now on the ground, was terrified. Who was this young man? Why did even Chairman Cameron show him such respect? He crawled to Charlie Wade, kowtowing and begging for mercy. "Mr. Wade, please! I've lived in Aurouss Hill my whole life. My family and friends are here. If I can't return, what's the point of living?"

Charlie Wade replied coldly, "As manager of the Champs Elysées Spa Resort, Chairman Cameron must pay you handsomely. Including bonuses, you probably make at least one or two million dollars a year. You could have lived a good life. Instead, you sided with Marcus and ordered security to attack guests. You deserve this!"

He continued, "Did you know those security guards and employees are hired by the Champs Elysées Spa Hotel? You helped Marcus beat up other guests."

Mr. Hicks cried, "Mr. Wade, I only helped Marcus because he seemed important. I wanted to befriend him… I was just trying to please him…"

Charlie Wade sneered, "Then you'll pay for your mistake!" He looked at Albert. "Albert, what are you waiting for?"

Chapter 427

Seeing Charlie Wade's impatience, Albert gestured, "Beat him up!"

His men surrounded Mr. Hicks, punching and kicking him until he was nearly half-dead. Albert then said coldly, "You have half a day to leave Aurouss Hill."

The dying Mr. Hicks coughed weakly, "Don Albert, please, give me two days… let me treat my injuries…"

Albert replied icily, "Get treatment in the next province! Call your family, hire an ambulance, and get out of Aurouss Hill! Don't even come back for your burial! Otherwise, I'll scatter your ashes!"

Mr. Hicks froze in terror. This was too cruel! He deserved it, though. To improve his life, he'd favored certain customers and even instructed security guards to attack guests because of Marcus. He'd even tried to harm a respected guest that even Chairman Cameron respected. Charlie Wade was showing him incredible leniency by letting him live. Trembling, Mr. Hicks called his family to arrange an ambulance.

Chapter 428

After dealing with Mr. Hicks, Albert asked Charlie Wade, "Mr. Wade, shall I help you check in?"

Charlie Wade shook his head. "No, I can manage it. You finish this."

Albert said, "Alright. Mr. Wade, call anytime."

Charlie Wade nodded and said to Claire and Loreen, "Let's go."

Loreen, finally regaining her senses, looked at Charlie Wade with unconcealed affection. She felt safe with him.

The Champs Elysées Spa Hotel was a Japanese-style hot spring resort. Guests had private suites with a 100-square-meter garden and a private hot spring fed by a constant underground source. The temperature was always perfect.

Isaac, learning Charlie Wade was there, upgraded their rooms to the best suites, two large, luxurious bedrooms with spacious private hot springs and beautiful views.

Claire and Loreen were delighted. Loreen urged, "Claire, put on your swimsuit! Let's relax in the hot spring!"

"Okay!" Claire agreed, equally excited. Charlie Wade had hoped to see his wife change, but both women went to the same room…

Chapter 429

Charlie Wade realized the two women would only admire each other, leaving him out. He went to his room and changed into shorts. By the time he emerged, the women hadn't left their rooms yet. He went to the garden and entered the hot spring, sighing in relief at the warmth.

He heard footsteps. Claire and Loreen, in bikinis, were approaching. Claire's swimsuit was modest but showed off her figure. Loreen's, however, was bolder, revealing much more of her attractive body. She outshone Claire in boldness.

Loreen smiled gently at Charlie Wade. He quickly looked away, fearing he'd lose control or that Claire would notice.

The women entered the hot spring, dipping their legs in before plunging in together. Claire, feeling self-conscious, held Loreen's hand and stayed a few meters from Charlie Wade, whispering amongst themselves. Loreen, however, kept glancing at Charlie Wade.

To avoid suspicion, Charlie Wade turned his back and closed his eyes. The women chatted for a while before feeling sleepy. Claire, exhausted from work, soon leaned against the pool, falling asleep. Charlie Wade closed his eyes as well, but felt the water shift. Loreen was beside him.

Before he could speak, Loreen put a finger to his lips. "Claire's asleep. Don't wake her," she whispered.

Charlie Wade checked Claire, then sighed in relief. "We shouldn't be this close, especially not with Claire!"

Loreen laughed. "Claire's asleep. Besides, I want to thank you for what happened. You saved me again…"

Chapter 430

Charlie Wade remained calm. "We just met some thugs; I taught them a lesson. Don't worry about it."

Loreen said seriously, "Regardless, thank you!" She sat close and hugged him. He felt her smooth skin against his. He quickly said, "Loreen, don't. I don't want Claire to see."

Loreen chuckled. "Does that mean I can hug you if Claire can't see?"

"That's not what I meant…" Charlie Wade said helplessly.

Loreen hugged him tighter. "I want to hug you, and I want Claire to see! Then, you two can divorce, and you can be with me!"

Charlie Wade said, "How can you say that? You're Claire's best friend!"

Loreen replied seriously, "I know you and Claire didn't marry for love! She married you because of her grandfather. You don't have a strong relationship; you haven't even consummated your marriage. Why don't you both let go and find true love? It's better for everyone."

Charlie Wade said, "You don't understand my feelings for Claire."

Loreen asked, "Then do you understand mine for you?"

Charlie Wade nodded. "I know, but I can't reciprocate. I'm sorry."

"Why?!" Loreen asked aggrievedly. "Why cling to a loveless marriage?"

Charlie Wade said, "I've made it clear. We're not suitable. Even if I divorced Claire, we wouldn't be together. I have no intention of divorcing her. So, stop wasting your time."

Loreen grumbled, "I'm willing to waste my time. I love you!"

Charlie Wade said, "You're being foolish. Find a single man instead."

Loreen's eyes filled with tears. "Charlie Wade, my heart belongs to you. I've loved you since you saved me. I'm hopelessly in love… I even dreamt of you last night…"

"You dreamt of me?" Charlie Wade asked, shocked.

Loreen blushed. "We went back to Thomas's estate, got married… and then…"

"And then what?"

Loreen blushed even more. "Then, I gave you a baby boy…"

Charlie Wade said, "Dreams are often the opposite of reality."

Loreen said, "I wouldn't mind a daughter, too."

Charlie Wade had a migraine. He emphasized, "Loreen, we can't be together… you don't understand me…"

Loreen said sadly, "Even if I don't understand you, I can learn. It doesn't matter if you don't divorce Claire. I can secretly love you, even for a lifetime…"

Chapter 430 (Continued)

Charlie Wade was speechless. Loreen wanted to be his secret lover? How could he agree? His feelings for Claire were genuine. Claire, despite initial reluctance, had married him despite family ridicule, and she had even helped him financially when his orphanage caretaker fell ill. How could he betray her?

Claire stirred in her sleep. Charlie Wade quickly pushed Loreen away. Loreen saw Claire wasn't fully awake, leaned in, and kissed Charlie Wade quickly before swimming away.

Claire stretched and opened her eyes. "Oh, this is so relaxing! I feel so much better!" She turned to Loreen, surprised by her red face. "Loreen, it's not that hot, why are you so red?"

Loreen blushed, smiling, "Yes, but there's such a beautiful woman beside me! How could I not feel warm?" She playfully jabbed Claire. They splashed each other, playing in the hot spring.

Charlie Wade felt dizzy watching Loreen's movements. He felt this was a beautiful scene, but also overwhelming. To calm himself, he submerged his head.

Loreen teased him. "Hey, Charlie Wade! Why are you submerging yourself? Afraid you'll drown?"

Charlie Wade emerged, sputtering, "I'm done. You two continue; I'll get you some drinks."

Claire said, "Okay, Charlie Wade. I'm thirsty. Iced Coke, please!"

Loreen said, "Cold Sprite for me!"

"Okay," Charlie Wade said, escaping the hot spring. He had two beautiful women, one his wife, the other wanting to be his lover, both scantily clad. If he stayed, he feared he'd lose control. Claire had no desire for them to consummate their marriage. Though Loreen loved him deeply, he was already married, so he could do nothing. He felt frustrated, unable to touch either woman. This was incredibly frustrating and unpleasant.
