Chapter 511

Jordan wailed in utter desperation at Charlie Wade's order. He found Mount Golmin's treacherous terrain and icy weather repulsive. He wouldn't have gone near the place had he not needed to collect medicinal herbs early in his career. His disgust for the bitter cold extended to Liam's mother, whom he treated as a mere escort. He never imagined that decades later, Charlie Wade would punish him with a life sentence on Mount Golmin! The thought was unbearable; it was tantamount to a death sentence. His health was already failing; Mount Golmin would hasten his demise. The place was living hell for a pleasure-seeking old man like him.

Despairingly, he pleaded, "Master Wade, I haven't long to live. Please, have mercy! I'll give Liam Weaver Pharmaceuticals if you let me stay in Aurous Hill for the rest of my life."

Charlie Wade responded coldly, "Have you considered that Liam's mother was gone for twenty years? You lived twenty years longer, you scumbag! You should be grateful! Repent for your sins on Mount Golmin for the rest of your life! You'll search for ginseng daily and visit Liam's mother's grave every day!"

He then addressed Liam: "Liam, after you take over the company, send someone to monitor them daily. Ensure they visit your mother's grave every morning and spend the rest of the day collecting ginseng in the mountains. No phones, internet, or television. A life of early rising and early bedtime! If they slack off, break their legs and freeze them!"

Liam, astonished and thrilled, realized Charlie Wade had not only secured the company for him but also delivered perfect revenge against Jordan and Jeffrey. The irony of their punishment—confinement to the place they despised most—was satisfying.

He knelt, saying respectfully, "Thank you, Master Wade. I will do as you say."

Charlie Wade nodded, glaring at the weeping Jordan and Jeffrey. "If they escape Mount Golmin, the five-hundred-million-dollar bounty will be activated. They will die."

Jeffrey wailed, tears and snot streaming down his face. As second-in-chief of Weaver Pharmaceuticals, he enjoyed a life of luxury and privilege thanks to his family connections in Aurous Hill. Mount Golmin was worse than life imprisonment; at least prison offered some human contact.

Chapter 512

Jeffrey wailed, "No! I don't want to go to that hellhole!" He begged Charlie Wade, "Master Wade, forgive me! I'll leave the country; I'll never bother Liam again! Please, don't send me to Mount Golmin!"

Charlie Wade ignored them, addressing the rest of the family: "You have two choices: work under Liam, and he will care for your well-being, or join them on Mount Golmin to search for ginseng!"

He stomped his foot. "Ten seconds. Choose wisely."

The family scattered like ants, lining up behind Liam. Jordan and Jeffrey raged, "Ungrateful jerks! We fed you!" They were ignored. Everyone abandoned the fallen father and son.

Jeffrey wailed; Jordan convulsed. Jeffrey crawled to Liam, begging, "Liam, my brother, we share a father! Please, plead with Master Wade! I'll give you everything—the Weaver family and the business. Just don't send me to Mount Golmin!"

Liam responded coldly, "I won't disobey Master Wade for a scumbag like you! You never treated me as a brother. You insulted me and my mother for years, and I hate you! You deserve this punishment!"

Jordan, shaky, said, "Liam, I'm your father. Aren't you afraid of karma?"

"No," Liam replied coldly. "You, however, after hurting so many women and abandoning your children, aren't you afraid of retribution? This is it. You know you haven't long to live. Even if you miraculously survive a few years, your condition will make it a living hell. This is your retribution!"

Jordan, speechless with rage, coughed violently.

Charlie Wade declared, "You have one hour to pack. An hour later, you're going to Mount Golmin." He called Albert: "Albert, send reliable men and two cars to pick up Jordan and Jeffrey and take them to Mount Golmin."

"Yes, Master Wade," Albert replied. "What then?"

"Send them to the village at the mountain's foot. Buy them a small house. Buy them groceries. They stay on Mount Golmin forever. Even in death, they'll be spirits of the mountain. If cremated, bury their ashes there. Understand?"

"Yes, Master Wade."

Chapter 513

Jordan and Jeffrey cried, unable to accept their fate. Charlie Wade stated flatly, "It's cold there, even in autumn. If you freeze to death without warm clothes, you have only yourselves to blame."

Realizing they'd be going empty-handed if they delayed, they dejectedly packed. They'd given up; Charlie Wade's power was beyond their control. Aurous Hill's prominent families had added to the bounty on his head. They had to leave.

The rest of the family avoided them. No one helped, even with Jordan's failing health. They didn't want to offend Liam or Charlie Wade.

Albert arrived with six men and three Land Cruisers. The journey was over two thousand kilometers, taking at least two days. The men were strong enough to prevent escape. Charlie Wade doubted they'd try; the bounty would ensure their capture.

Half an hour later, Jordan and Jeffrey emerged with suitcases, their expressions gloomy.

Charlie Wade said, "The cars are here. Go."

They were taken away, looking back at their home and family with reluctance. Jordan regretted not handing the chairmanship to Liam earlier. He had only himself to blame.

Liam watched them leave, tears streaming down his face. He knelt before Charlie Wade, his voice choked with emotion: "Master Wade, thank you! I've achieved my greatest wishes. I owe you my life. Weaver Pharmaceuticals is yours; I surrender myself to you. I'll do anything."

Charlie Wade smiled gently. "Liam, you're brave and a good son. You lacked opportunity, which I give you. But don't become the man you hate. If you become another Jordan Weaver, I'll kill you."

Liam knocked his head on the floor. "Yes, I understand! If I fail you, I'll end my life!"

Chapter 514

Charlie Wade nodded. "Get up. Manage the Weaver family business well. I may need your help."

"Yes, Master Wade."

Liam felt his life was complete. He would repay Charlie Wade and would not become like Jordan.

Charlie Wade patted Liam's shoulder. "Do well. Make your mother proud."

Liam nodded repeatedly, tears flowing. Charlie Wade told Anthony and Xyla, "Let's go."

Xyla looked at Charlie Wade as if he were a god. Anthony admired him even more, considering his decision to stay in Aurous Hill one of his best.

On the way back, Anthony sighed. "Master Wade, your handling of the Weaver family was impressive."

Charlie Wade smiled. "The best punishment is forcing someone to accept what they hate most. Mount Golmin is a treasure trove of natural resources, but Jordan detests it. Let him live there."

He continued, "If he realizes Mount Golmin's beauty before he dies, he may repent. If he remains stubborn, he'll die in pain. Whether he repents is his own business."

"You want him to repent," Anthony said.

"No, I just want to teach him a lesson. His repentance is up to him. He might hang himself, or he might find meaning. It's his choice."

Anthony sighed. "Master Wade, you're wise."

Charlie Wade waved his hand. "I'm just mischievous." He gave Anthony a wooden box containing medicine and a newly refined Rejuvenating Pill, stating it would make him ten years younger and extend his life by ten years.

Chapter 515

The Rejuvenating Pill was miraculous to ordinary people, but just a low-level medicine to Charlie Wade. He made thirty pills, keeping some and rewarding others. Anthony's loyalty earned him a pill.

Charlie Wade said, "Take it tonight, rest well."

Anthony said, "Thank you, Master Wade!"

Charlie Wade nodded. "Stay healthy, contribute to society."

"Of course! I don't charge patients; only for ingredients. I waive fees for those in need!"

"Good."

After Charlie Wade returned home, Kenneth, having received a second opinion confirming his penis necrosis was healed, decided to leave Aurous Hill, disgusted with the bad luck he’d experienced there. He felt he'd gained nothing but a few days with Wendy and the loss of his manhood, costing him fifteen million. Wendy was unaware of his bitterness. She awaited his return.
