The Amazing Son-in-Law: Chapters 596-600

Chapter 596

Elaine Ma blurted out, "Charlie Wade, I don't want your money!"

Charlie Wade was astonished. His mother-in-law's sudden compassion was baffling. His surprise quickly turned to outrage when Elaine continued, "Charlie, just bring the deed to Zeke White's villa!"

"What?!" Charlie exclaimed. "Mom, that villa's worth $130 million! You didn't lose that much playing mahjong, did you?"

Elaine stammered, "No, I lost over $60 million, and I owe them another $55 million" She pleaded, "Son-in-law, bring the deed to save me! If you don't, I'll die!"

Charlie sputtered, "Mom! You're trading a $130 million villa for $55 million?!"

Elaine, panicking, urged, "Bring $55 million, or the deed! Otherwise, you'll only be collecting my body with Claire!"

A man's voice then boomed through the phone, "You're Elaine Ma's son-in-law, right? Bring the deed, or she dies!"

Charlie frowned. "Who are you?"

The man snarled, "You don't need to know! Your mother-in-law owes me $55 million. Refuse to pay, and collect her body! She also posed for a high-definition video. Refuse to pay, and that video goes viral!"

Charlie was enraged. He didn't care about physical harm to Elaine, but the video was unacceptable. He couldn't bear the thought of Claire seeing it. Claire was kind and compassionate, even using her savings to help others. The video would devastate her.

While he didn't care about Elaine's life or death, he deeply cared for Claire, who had always respected and supported him. He couldn't let her suffer.

Charlie said, "Don't hurt her. I'll give you the villa. Give me your address."

Chapter 597

"Villa C11, Thompson First. Bring the deed, or I kill her!" the man threatened.

"Okay," Charlie replied.

After hanging up, Charlie told Jacob, "Dad, I need to go. Have fun, charge everything to Albert's account."

Jacob patted Charlie's shoulder, "Son-in-law, thank you. You saved me from a lot of embarrassment."

Charlie smiled, "Dad, I understand it hasn't been easy. It's my duty to help."

Charlie left, hailed a cab, and headed to Thompson First, not to fetch the deed, but to call Albert.

Albert answered respectfully, "Mr. Wade, what can I do for you?"

Charlie explained the situation, suspecting foul play.

Albert fumed. Someone dared to target Charlie's mother-in-law in Aurous Hill? He vowed revenge.

Chapter 598

Charlie arrived at the villa. A dozen gangsters surrounded a battered Elaine. Two unfamiliar women and Hannah were also present. Hannah felt guilty but remained calm.

Elaine burst into tears at Charlie's arrival.

Charlie asked, "Mom, how did you lose over $60 million playing mahjong?"

Elaine sobbed, explaining her aunt's invitation and how she was forced to mortgage the villa. She suspected a deliberate scam.

Charlie sneered, "They clearly cheated you."

Linda yelled, "It was a fair game! Blame your bad luck!"

Hudson intervened, "Don't waste your breath. Hand over the deed!"

Charlie calmly replied, "I didn't bring it."

Elaine was furious, accusing Charlie of trying to kill her.

Charlie replied, "I promised Claire we'd move into the villa next month. I can't break my promise."

Elaine raged, "You'd rather keep your promise to Claire than save my life?!"

Charlie responded, "You won't die that easily."

Chapter 599

Elaine scoffed at Charlie's chances against a dozen men. Hudson threatened Charlie, but Charlie challenged him, "Who set this up?"

Hudson laughed, claiming the villa as his territory. Charlie countered, "Aurous Hill is my territory."

Hudson scoffed, mentioning his boss's connection to Albert. Charlie stated that even Albert would kneel before him. He again demanded to know who set the trap.

Hudson, enraged, challenged Charlie. Before he could attack, Charlie grabbed his wrist.

"Twelve rings," Charlie stated before breaking Hudson's thumb. He proceeded to break each finger.

The gangsters attacked, but Charlie remained unmoved. Just then, Albert arrived with armed men, shouting, "Stop!"

The gangsters instantly surrendered. Albert apologized for being late. Charlie ordered the gangsters confined.

He then resumed breaking Hudson's fingers, but Albert suggested using his Tibetan Mastiffs instead.

Hudson revealed his connection to "Brother Wayne," claiming to be Albert's follower. Albert revealed he was Charlie's disciple, shocking everyone.

Chapter 600

Hudson, terrified, confessed that his aunt Linda was the mastermind. Charlie warned him against speaking before finishing the "twelve rings."

Charlie continued breaking Hudson's fingers and then his wrists. He then proceeded to break his other hand, completing the "twelve rings." Hudson was crippled.

Charlie coldly stated, "You still have legs. Tell me everything, or you get another twelve rings!"

Hudson, terrified, agreed to confess everything, detailing Linda's scheme.
