Chapter 656

Cain, arrogant grin plastered on his face, boasted, "Mr. Webb brought me here! I'm a Webb family man now. No one here can challenge the Webbs! Touch me, and you'll provoke them!"

He felt invincible, certain the Webb family's name would protect him. But suddenly, a black shadow flashed, and before he could react, Charlie Wade slapped him hard. The force sent him reeling. He looked up to see Charlie with a wide smile.

"I wouldn't have bothered if you hadn't mentioned the Webbs," Charlie said flatly, "but now, I have to show them some color!"

Cain raged, "You slapped me! You f*cker!" He was shocked; mentioning the Webbs had backfired spectacularly. He believed slapping him was the same as slapping the Webb family. He saw Charlie as a mere trickster, unaware of the Webb family's immense power in the South Region.

Charlie, ignoring the curses, slapped him again. "Think I wouldn't dare because you're the Webb family's dog? I'm slapping the Webb family's dog! Tell your master to come see me!"

Before arriving, Charlie had received a warning from Albert: the Webbs were hunting him—for turning Kian into a "poop-eating monster" and for Jasmine's affections. They likely already knew about Jasmine's admiration. Cain's aggression might have been orchestrated by them. Confronting the Webbs directly seemed preferable to dealing with their lapdog.

Cain was furious. Charlie dared to provoke them even after he'd invoked the Webb family's name! Seeing Sean watching from the second-floor terrace, Cain yelled, "Charlie Wade, I'm a Webb family man! Do you dare to touch me?!"

Charlie, noticing Sean, laughed. "The Webb family? So what? Keeping trash like you as dogs makes them trash. Why should I take trash seriously?"

Chapter 657

Sean, enraged by Charlie's insult, stormed downstairs. Jasmine, disgusted by Cain's swollen face, ordered her bodyguards to throw him out, breaking his legs if he returned.

As the bodyguards moved to drag Cain away, Sean's cold voice stopped them: "How dare you! Let him go!"

Sean had intended for Cain to humiliate Charlie, but Charlie's arrogance—slapping Cain twice and calling the Webbs trash—was beyond his expectations. The bodyguards hesitated, knowing Sean and his father were distinguished guests.

Cain, seeing hope, cried, "Mr. Webb, help me!"

Sean sneered, "Useless dog. Can't even handle this?"

Jasmine frowned, asking Sean about his involvement. He claimed Cain was with him and his father; throwing him out was an insult to them. He then turned to Charlie, demanding he kneel and slap himself. Only he could beat Cain, not others; it was a matter of family pride.

Charlie asked, "Why? Is your family so powerful?"

Sean boasted, "The Webb family is number one in the South Region, among the top in the country! How dare you call us trash?!"

Before Charlie could respond, Jasmine intervened, urging Sean not to put Charlie in a difficult position, referring to him as "Master Wade."

Sean scoffed, "He's a loser! Why call him 'master'?"

Jasmine firmly stated, "Be respectful! Master Wade is my idol!" Sean was furious that Jasmine favored Charlie. He raged, "What does he have that I don't?!"

Chapter 658

Sean warned Jasmine that Charlie had insulted the Webbs and hurt his "dog." He demanded Charlie kneel and apologize to both him and Cain.

Cain, elated, arrogantly ordered Charlie to kneel. Charlie, however, grabbed Cain by the neck, lifting him effortlessly. Sean was stunned; he'd never seen anyone lift a 150-pound man so easily. Charlie threatened to carve "pathetic jerk" onto Cain's forehead if he spoke again, then threw him to the ground.

Jasmine ordered her bodyguards to remove Cain. Cain cried for help. Sean, humiliated, revealed that Charlie was a married, "useless live-in son-in-law." Jasmine retorted that Charlie was an honored guest and someone she admired. She would evict Sean if he continued his disrespect.

Sean sneered, "You think he's powerful because Jasmine supports him? Haven't you heard of the Webb family in Erith?!"

Charlie smirked, mentioning the viral video of Kian eating feces. Albert added a mocking comment, causing laughter. Sean's fury escalated.

Chapter 659

Sean's rage exploded. He vowed the Webbs wouldn't let Charlie live. Jasmine intervened again, ordering Sean to leave. Sean was shocked she would evict him over Charlie. Reuben attempted to mediate, introducing both men. Sean remained defiant.

Lord Mooore and Donald arrived. Sean quickly explained the situation, but Lord Mooore unexpectedly greeted Charlie with utmost respect. Sean and Donald were astounded.

Charlie inquired about Lord Mooore's health, accurately diagnosing a mild cold stemming from a weakened core. He mentioned a birthday gift that would help.

Chapter 660

Lord Mooore suspected the gift was a Rejuvenating Pill, a dream come true. He thanked Charlie profusely. Donald, confused, whispered to Sean about the situation. Sean explained Charlie's actions and Jasmine's support.

Donald was furious that Charlie had beaten Cain and insulted the Webbs. He appealed to Lord Mooore for justice. Lord Mooore, however, knowing Sean's role in the conflict, scolded Donald, defending Charlie. The mention of the Rejuvenating Pill swayed his decision. He sternly declared that no one could tarnish Charlie's reputation in his house.
